Very quiet restaurant, most people seem to just order take-away from here. They do a buffet on Friday nights for $19.90 per person, it includes dessert. I usually prefer to order from the menu though, because the buffet can be a bit smushy. Make sure to ask for a milder dish if you don't want your mouth burnt.
Approximate cost: $20
I have been here for a few concerts, and had a great experience each time. Did you ever think you could find a grand piano and professional opera singers in a little dusty town in the bush? I am surprised every time! It's great that these guys work hard to get some good musicians and actors come this way to perform for us!
Newly renovated, the Workers Club looks great and is a good place for a family meal. They have a kids inside play room and big outside play area. For adults they have a large gaming area, bar, and the restaurant. Their meals are not fantastic, but still pretty good and affordable. They do a popular seafood buffet on Sundays
Approximate cost: $10-20
One of the better motels in Moranbah. Looks nice outside and inside accommodationwise, but I wouldn't recommend their restaurant. Service was unfriendly and it took us ages to get our meals. The meal was expensive but not very tasty.
I don't have anything negative to say about this business. My dentist is lovely. What I like the very best is how they give your teeth a good clean every time you go in, so that you can really feel the difference.
Was amazed to see all the equipment these guys have! They take a picture of your eye, and you can see it all on the computer... I thought these kid of services only exist in the big cities. The optometrist is very professional, kind and friendly, and helps you to choose the right frames too.
I think this library is great for a small town library! They have new books available and update their books regularly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have computers and the internet available (many computers, not just a couple!). They do story telling for little children, and have a really nice area for the children's books as well.
Have only used their services once when I was moving house and needed to have the curtains washed. They were really busy at the time, but still agreed to wash and line dry the curtains for me (they were big, heavy ones that would not fit in a normal machine). Was satisfied with the service.
I'm a bit disappointed they don't do a lunch buffet anymore. However, there are some good options on the menu, especially their prawn salad. The meals are not cheap compared to other restaurants in town. People like this place for dinner, because it's easy to move to the bar and disco afterwards (they're in the same building).
Without going too much into detail, I want to say that my partner and I have both been satisfied with QLD Fertility Group (although of course we wish we would never have had to use their services). The staff at the lab were great and explained us what they were doing. Now we just hope for a miracle!
