I attended the Harry Potter Exhibition here in the first few days of opening. Staff were friendly and helpful, despite the fact they were REALLY busy, and had people queuing for long amounts of time (entry to the exhibition was on a timed basis, every half hour) - they were really well organised, considering.
The exhibition was separately priced from the museum ticket, but not as expensive as I'd expected - $32, and included entry to the museum itself as well, so good value really. Tickets to the museum alone are $10 adult, $5 children, and under 4 years are free.
I didn't visit the rest of the museum on this occasion, but the parts I saw of it looked really impressive and I can see it'd be a great place to visit with children.
I really appreciated the cloakroom facilities as I was carrying heavy bags.

Had quiche and coffee here for lunch, the quiche was tasty, the coffee was good. Also offered baguettes, pies and cakes.
Service was friendly and fairly fast, considering they were really busy.
Prices were surprisingly good.

I had a piece of slice and coffee here, cost $8.50, about what I expected for the location, cake and coffee "special" was $11.50 (but as with most of these places, the size of the piece of cake would easily feed two, so would be good value if you had a coffee each and cake to share).
Service was friendly and fairly fast, couldn't really fault anything.

This is a gorgeous location, views out over the Botanical gardens, lovely outdoor area on the balcony as well. Very hot day when I was there, so I sat inside, but would love to visit again and spend some leisurely time on that balcony!
I had scones with jam and cream, which was only $6.50 with a pot of tea, so I didn't find it overpriced at all. Noticed the prices of other cakes to be $8.50, if you had to pay for tea/coffee on top of this, I guess it would be a bit pricey.
Service was amazingly quick - I hardly had time to sit down before they were there with my order, and the staff were really, really friendly.
A free copy of the Herald to browse while I was eating was the icing on the cake! (I'm from Tassie, not used to the practice of the museums giving away free newspapers!)

Approximate cost: $6.50

I saw Katerina several times this year for Bowen therapy. She is pleasant and very skilled, provides health fund rebates, which is always a plus.
I moved onto another massage therapist as I found it difficult to contact her to make appointments - was always leaving messages on her mobile, she'd call back and leave a message for me.....process got a bit too complicated. I'm a shift worker so couldn't just book appointments way in advance as I don't know what shifts I'll be working.
If it wasn't for this, I'd still be seeing her for regular therapeutic massage as well as Bowen therapy.

Approximate cost: $70.00

Serves Chinese as well as Japanese food, the char siu noodles soup is really nice, and quite like the chicken laksa as well. Reasonably priced, and friendly staff, service is always good.

Have only had the spring rolls from here, they were OK, but nothing to write home about.
Service was good, considering they were pretty busy, staff were friendly.
Much of the menu wasn't appealing to me (personal taste only) so can't comment on the "authentic" Japanese cuisine.

Great little cafe in an unexpected location. Have dropped in for breakfast on my way home from work with colleagues a few times.
Pancakes with maple syrup are delicious, and also the eggs, bacon and spinach. Happy to do decaf coffee for those of us heading home to sleep all day!
Open early - we're generally seated and eating a little after 8.30 am. Service is good and fast (although we're generally the only customers at this hour).
Reasonably priced, happy to recommend.

Friendly, down to earth gastroenterologist with a very good reputation.
Has tried hard to help me with distressing symptoms, makes me feel as though he really relates to me, and I've always felt safe in his care.
Bonus point that he bulk bills me as I'm a registered nurse (although many medical specialists do this as a professional courtesy).
Receptionist is friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended.

Excellent massage therapist, has helped me greatly with remedial massage.
Works out of my chiropractor's office, which makes it easy to book appointments and coincide them with visits to the chiropractor when necessary. No messing around with mobile phones and playing phone tag trying to catch up with each other!
Will work out a payment plan if you're short of cash, and will also use barter, which is brilliant!
Also, every 10th visit is half price. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
