ONE BAD APPLE DIDN'T SPOIL IT! I think this company is very good, operated from home. They contract work out, for electrical, tv antenna installation, repair, computer repair, the list is extensive. Although we were unfortunate to have an unsatisfactory tradesman initially, the way Andrew, and senior colleagues Colin and George listened to our complaint and amended the problem to ensure good customer service was excellent. We were reimbursed the extra spent, due to the first tech, and have been assured he no longer works for them. The website invites queries, offers DIY help, 7 days a week telephone enquires and on line chat. Check them out.

Great place to show our beautiful city skyline off over a really special dinner. Fabulous outlook over the river for breakfast too! Can't go past eggs benedict. Not cheap, but really special. For a special family treat, we combined a family day pass, on train, bus and ferry to get there, had milkshakes and coffees and snack, then ferry bus and train home. Kids loved it, and it didn't cost the earth.

This review is for Balingup Tavern, Balingup WA

A wonderful little country tavern in the delightful little town of Balingup, with 2 bars, an undercover alfresco area, and inside dining, Mallards Restaurant. Also has a sectioned off area "the cave" in the corner, for a very special dining experience. Open fire in the winter, extremely friendly staff, great food, and quite extensive menu, considering such a little town. Only shame was absence of desert menu, for those who could fit it in! Children's menu avail. Very enjoyable.

First time there was to use my birthday voucher. Had an amazing breakfast, out on their patio area, right in front of the beach. Breath taking, overlooking the ocean, just a few meters from the beach. Gotta go back for a sunset dinner. Join their members club, and be treated for your birthday, plus a great loyalty points programme for treats all year. The service was excellent, very friendly. But that view.. cant beat it!

This review is for To To Vietnamese Restaurant, East Victoria Park WA

First visit to this bustling Vietnamese Restaurant last night, and wont be the last. Huge menu, spoilt for choice. BYO. Restaurant half full on arrival, packed when we finished but friendly efficient service never changed. Booking avail, (would recommend) Polite friendly staff, attentive. Assisted by many, but David was our main wait person, and made our night. Chatty, helpful, wicked sense of humour. Will take a while to eat our way through their menu. Highly recommended

This review is for Vu's Vietnamese Cafe, South Perth WA

We were very impressed with our experience this week at Vu's. Offering a very relaxed classy feel to a wonderful meal. Beautifully cooked, our meals arrived fresh hot and delicious, served by outstanding friendly staff in traditional dress. Well suited music playing, in a really lovely setting, all tables surrounding a central tree, adorned with mauve lights giving the appearance of fruit blossom in full bloom. Will be back.

Recently back from Vietnam, we were excited about trying a restaurant back home. Dianne and her friendly staff looked after us very well last night. The food was superb, fresh, and hot. BYO. Tables were beautifully adorned with rose petals for Valentines day, the place was bustling and busy, yet we were attended to without waiting long. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended, will go back again.

Went today for 1.5 hour pamper package on a Scoopon, consisting of deep cleansing facial and mask, shoulder and neck massage, brow shape & tint, and lash tint. Though the business has been there a while, it's recently changed hands, run and owned by Jadie, a bubbly yet professional young lady. Quiet, clean relaxing surroundings, no pushy product sell, and her prices are good. Worth a visit to treat yourself. Meter parking at front limited to 1 hour, but a short walk south, just after Boas Ave lights is the entrance to Lakeside Shopping centre, free undercover parking if you are having a longer treat.

Went for a lunch there a week ago, dining in the al fresco area, and for evening meal last night dining inside. Both times we made our own tasting plate. A great idea if you want to try lots of variety without eating or paying too much. Nice to select your own items on it, rather than receive a selection pre chosen, some items you may not like. Food came out fresh, hot and delicious. Staff very accomodating, helpful and dont keep you waiting. Great service by 'Maddie' for lunch. Well looked after. Menu had new items on, even though I'd only been last week. Funky decor, clean neat, family freindly, plenty of room, but booking recommended, as they are very popular. Nice for cake and coffee too. Awesome deserts. Become a member for free birthday meal, (see conditions)

This review is for Chinta, Doubleview WA

verified email - 22 Sep 2012

Lovely, quirky, very different experience. Doubleview's little secret is becoming popular by word of mouth, which means you have to wait a bit sometimes, and seating isn't always available. Part of the charm of Chinta is that it is small, tucked away, but the popularity sometimes puts demands on small staffing. However, food and juices are fresh, homemade. Ample parking at rear, up laneway next to shop. Bali flags at front make finding it easy. Their gift shop at front has some very interesting things for the home, even some clothing and accessories, inside seating in cafe side. The real surprise is the funky courtyard at back, with quirky wooden chairs, tables, water features, under umbrellas and Frangipani tree. Soothing music. A really nice place to go for coffee, or lunch with a difference. If you're in a hurry, Chinta isn't for you. If you want to really relax and have something a bit different, check it out.
