Best dentist experience ever! I am so very happy I built up the courage to visit Attadale Dental Centre recently for some fillings and a check-up I was well overdue for. Simply put, Dr Michael Nguyen is just a lovely person, and who wouldn't want a friendly, thoughtful, informative and honest dentist working on your teeth?! I felt I could completely trust his judgement of the level of work I needed, as he provided good information about my options and seems to investigate the less-intrusive and less-expensive options first. I required eight fillings in total, and during the procedures he continually considered my comfort and wellbeing, offering little breaks and checking how I feel. I have also since taken my 4yr old daughter for a check-up (mostly because she was curious!), and he was fabulous at introducing her to the ‘dentist environment', making her involved in the process and relaxed. Shy at first, she quickly was giggling and later boasting her experience to family and friends! He offered some great personalised tips for looking after her teeth also. His nurse and Rhonda at reception are incredibly helpful and lovely also. The dental hygienist Rhona is also worth visiting. I assumed my teeth brushing skills and flossing were okay, however she offered some insights into the positioning of my teeth, how, why things are the way they are, and gave me some great tips for personalising my teeth-brushing routine – why oh why has no one ever shared that sort of information with me in the past?! I'll tell you why, they didn't care like these lot do :) As you can probably tell, I'm very happy with them!
