On our travels again and this time we are in a very small but very clean cabin with linen. Very little room to put luggage and food. At $90 I think this is not a bargain. There are larger and more expensive cabins available. This is a large and well run park with many amenity buildings. Most van sites are grassed and the reception staff are friendly and efficient. Camp kitchens, laundries, playgrounds are all here as expected.
Approximate cost: $90
Great country bakery. When travelling to Melbourne buy lunch here. Fresh products and a good place to have a break. Full range. My husband usually has a sausage roll and a custard tart.
Meet friends here for coffee and cake. Large cafe so plenty of seats and can talk for quite a long time. The cookies that go with the coffee are good too. Staff are helpful. Car park at rear
Had coffee here when we were shopping in Morphett Vale recently. Nice coffee and enjoyed sitting outside. My husband had a sausage roll and they didn't mind me eating my own gluten free bar.
I often go here with our family. The grandchildren love the playroom. There parent's love that children eat free on certain days, the four grandparents like the price and the food.
The staff are very friendly and there is a salad and vegetable bar. Also gluten free meals are marked on the menu.
I was asked to buy a special bottle of wine by my son-in-law. I asked the staff about it and they even had it on special which was great. I really appreciated their help as I normally only buy inexpensive wine.
Approximate cost: $70.00
When we were in Portarlington in January this year, I bought a number of bakery items here. They were freshly made, a reasonable price and my husband enjoyed them for lunch.
We stored our caravan here from late 2010 to December 2011 until we decided to sell it. The staff were very friendly and started a waiting list for a place in there yard. The price was very reasonable on a monthly basis and if you paid well in advance there was a discount. If you didn't need storage earlier than expected there was then a refund
Approximate cost: $80/m
Stopped here for lunch when we were going to Victor Harbour. A very pleasant spot that is quite well known. I had pumpkin soup and my husband had a croissant which was quite large and well prepared. Reasonable value, slow service (which didnt worry us) and nice food. Also has some craft items for sale. They also do functions
This is a small store selling haberdashery items (large range of buttons, zippers, cottons). Sells patterns and wools and quilting fabric. It has a small range of fabrics. I find it good for buttons and threads etc. Patterns also.
