Real estate called them re a leak at a rental apt we own. The plumber assessed the leak to be coming from three different sources in three different reports. In the end he assessed the leak to be coming from between the bath tub and silicon seal around the bath, so he removed the existing silicon and put new in as a temporary thing saying the bath had to be refitted. I queried the bill for $600 and he said he also replaced the diverter as it was leaking at the time he was there. Since then the tenants have moved out and the bath spout had been snapped off inside the wall cavity. I had my own plumber inspect and he removed the tiles and plasterboard to get in to repair/ replace the bath spout and low and behold that is where the original leak has started from. The pipe was cracked in 2 places as a result of force being put on the spout . The first crack allowed the slow leak and then it eventually snapped clean off. So I have paid $600 for a repair that was not the source of the leak in the first place, and I have to pay for the silicon to be fixed up as it looks like a child has done it . NOT HAPPY JAN.......
