I recycle my cans and bottles at Blackwood Recycling Centre. While it is generally pretty quick (just a few minutes in and out), there can be a bit of a wait on Saturdays. Would recommend doing the preparation yourself (removing bottles, separating into types and counting) before going so that the process is even quicker. Great to have such a necessary service available locally!

Went here with a group of friends for a catch-up lunch. I had a pasta dish that was tasty but was so large I couldn't finish it. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The price was reasonable. The downside was that it was very busy and it can get quite noisy as other reviewers have commented. I would happily recommend this cafe!

I ordered a hot chocolate to take away. Had to wait about 10 minutes which I wasn't expecting. Felt even longer standing around waiting in the middle of the mall with people walking by. Price was about average. The hot chocolate itself wasn't anything special - just average. Have definitely had nicer hot chocolates elsewhere.

This is a hidden little cafe located roughly midway between Mitcham Library and Mitcham Girls High School, opposite the Tutt St intersection. It is your typical small local cafe. I used to eat here frequently when I worked nearby and felt relaxed and comfortable sitting at their tables watching the cars rush by. The food is your average deli-style fare with sandwiches, hot food, coffees, and other drinks. The prices are reasonable. But like a lot of little cafes, where it excels is the service - consistently excellent, friendly service. If you work nearby, I would recommend giving this cafe a go.

Ordered the garlic prawns from here to takeaway. The service was certainly friendly and polite! The cost was about average. The wait for the food was reasonable. However, I was a little disappointed with the taste of the garlic prawns. They weren't terrible but they weren't anything great either. I have had much better garlic prawns elsewhere.

I have been to two functions at the Edinburgh and also eaten dinner here several times. The food has been great each time. The ambiance is excellent at night in particular with lots of lights and there is a small beer garden that is very popular. The service is generally good although on the last occasion I had to chase up the staff a few times. Unfortunately since the stairs from the carpark to the dining area are not disability friendly, one using a mobility aid must walk the long way around. So expect a reasonably long walk if this applies to you. Overall, I would certainly recommend this well-known local pub.

I gave this cafe 3 stars because like a lot of places out there it is inconsistent. We have dined here a number of times before movies. The $10 meal deal is certainly good - buy meal and get a movie ticket for $10. The meal serves are so large I couldn't finish them if I tried, so I usually order an entree sized serve. Sometimes the food and the service are excellent. However, other times the quality of the food has been not so good and the service has been so slow you think you will have to leave before it is served or miss the start of the movie (or inhale the food very quickly!). If you are eating here before a movie, I would advise ordering twice as early as you think is necessary to avoid missing out or having to eat very quickly before running to the movie!

The pizzas are excellent quality with delicious, fresh toppings. The service is very good - they deliver locally and are usually on time. I have ordered from here multiple times over many years and there has only been a problem with my order once. Overall, I would recommend Papa Mia's for their great quality pizzas.

I first dined here about 15 years ago with my Italian language class and fell in love with it. Since then I have been back several times for functions. It is my all time favourite Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and very high quality. The service is wonderful and friendly. The only thing stopping me going there regularly is the fairly high cost - it is definitely a fine dining restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend La Tombola for a function or special evening!

As an avid WOMO user, I had read all the fantastic reviews for Fancy Burger and have been wanting to eat here for a long while purely on the basis of these reviews. Well, I finally did it and got take away from here recently.

The quality of the burgers was as good as everyone has said. The meat was very good and all the ingredients were fresh, tasty and delicious. I was pleased to see the beef was South Australian and the egg was free range. The chips also tasted as good as the other reviewers said - and I'm a big chip fan!

However, I have to say that I was a more than a little disappointed by the lousy service. The staff were not smiling and looked tired and unhappy. I waited more than 20 minutes for my food once I'd placed the order, even though it wasn't busy. I ordered my burger without relish and the staff member who was serving me was good in repeating the order, making sure she got it correct. Despite all this, they got my order wrong. You guessed it -they still put relish in my burger. Of course I didn't discover this until I got home and dished it up. By this stage I was too frustrated and felt I'd wasted enough of my time and energy already to go back and complain.

The cost is expensive at $17 for a burger and chips and more than what I expected. Although maybe I would have been more understanding of the cost if the service had been better.

Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of the food but very unimpressed by the service and value. I am honestly in two minds as to whether I would go back here again and whether I would recommend Fancy Burger to other people.
