Reviews by Ferney
Service: Patchy - sometimes hard to find, some staff are friendly, others ho-hum, no staff ever go out of their way to help
Product: good range of furniture, electrical goods and so on
Price: Very competitive, we found exactly what we wanted at a cheaper price than seen elsewhere in town (we did have to find the item ourselves as no staff around)
Parking: huge car park, off street available
Service: some staff are off-hand and disinterested
Waiting times: never on time, often over 45 minutes when clearly no emergency ahead of us
This medical Clinic is in an old house so not purpose built. Usually over crowded, no room, feels grotty and can feel stuffy.
Toilets: old, cramped, poor access
Access: Very poor access, big heavy main door, always lots of staff behind front desk - but never get up to help disabled or elderly persons with door
Bulk billing. Very little interest shown, no follow up
Country Service; butcher greets you cheerily
List available for country orders, delivery run to outlying rural areas orders phoned in before delivery day.
The offer of delivery is great for people a long way from shops
Staff: Knowledgeable, professional, promptly attend enquiries
Office: Bright, modern, comfortable, plenty of free relevant information available in printed form - pamphlets and booklets, also an excellent collection of books 'on sale' at time of our visit
Service: attended by a qualified, caring and interesting professional. This lady staff member listened carefully to our concerns and gave us appropriate and relevant advice, and later made follow up referrals and calls. This made our visit worthwhile and productive.
Top marks to this branch of this Dept.
Service: Friendly mostly - front desk can be rather intimidating!
Office: older building, funny old cramped office spaces
Cost: cheaper than other quotes we requested
End impression: work is now completed to a fairly satisfactory standard, but privately we sometimes wondered at the time if these guys were 100% on our side?
Service: Staff are knowledgeable and helpful, with a relaxed patient manner with customers. We wanted a water trough and the guys were good at explaining all the types to us.
Product: a great range of troughs, tanks and other poly items we viewed on display at a Ballarat field day. This can be confusing but the guys took the time to find out our specific needs and we ended up with exactly what we required.
We are very happy with the trough we bought at a verycompetitive price
Clinic: bright, modern, clean
Service: disinterested, clinical, impersonal, fairly efficient, bulk billing, appointments usually available, wait time varies, sometimes very long
Parking: street spaces not always available
Service: Excellent eye test, the most thorough, professional eye test ever! So good I brought back other family members when their tests were due! We were very lucky to be allocated the best Optician, we found him to be caring, he explained everything and we were not rushed.
Shop: bright, modern - good range of spectacles
Examination room: Carpet in examination room seems old, dark and dusty which meant itchy eyes and wheezing during the eye test. Carpet may need a serious shampoo or replacing
Bank: Clean modern, big heavy front door
Staff: Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, low key, went out of their way to explain a product, also to make sure I knew exactly what I needed to know
Always a pleasure doing business with these great people
Service: Patchy - some staff knowledgeable and helpful, other guy grumpy, disinterested, downright rude to customers!
Shop: old, historical building (rabbit warren) TIP: take care if you need to go out back to find something as floor is uneven
Product range: good range of most stock feed and treatment
Fair range pet requirements cages/kennels, toys, treats.
Various items we needed looked old, dusty, but they are still asking full new price - we chose to go elsewhere and buy fresh items
Probably could do with a serious clean up
