The boys from Protec visited our complex on 5 occasions to clean up the gardens and keep the lawn/gardens looking tidy. Their first visit was brilliant and they did an excellent job weeding the gardens, trimming back the overgrown trees, mowing and edging the footpath, clearing drains and blowing the driveway clear. But unfortunately on subsequent visits they provided a very cursory service. Within 4-5 months, despite monthly visits the gardens are overgrown and unruly. This is very disappointing because the gardens are very prominent and their lack of trimming/weeding is instantly noticeable on entering our complex.

I decided to try Inspired Creations on the advice of a friend (and I had received a discount voucher in the mail). My hair at this time was darker and looking a bit dull so I wanted to lighten up with a 1/2 head of foils. My appointment was with Neneh.
Although she did spend ~5 minutes discussing my hair needs with me, she didn't seem to listen to what I was asking for and kept telling me that it would take time to lighten my hair up so I would need to do it gradually. I know my hair, and I know from past experience that it lightens really easily so I was annoyed that she was telling me how my hair would react after barely meeting me. I really wasn't happy with the number of foils put in my hair, given that my request was to lighten my colour - it was substantially fewer than other salons have done in the past and took 1/4 of the time that it usually does. Across the centre of my head she used one wide foil strip, which would have been fine if I had a square head but since I don't I ended with up colour approximately 2cm from the hair root at the sides, instead of close to the scalp. The colour of the foils was actually pretty good but there weren't nearly enough foils placed in my hair and they weren't close enough to the scalp.

I also wasn't happy with the cut. My hair tends to go wavy when wet, so in the past, hair dressers have straightened it to make sure all ends are neat (I haven't had to pay for this separately as it's part of getting the cut). As I didn't want to pay extra for straightening she cut it wet - once I got home and straightened it myself it was noticeable that it was uneven and chunky.

Even with a discount voucher my hair cost ~$150 which seemed really steep for what is essentially a suburban salon. Overall, this was very disappointing and I won't be back.

I am a very fussy girl and would have to say that currently my hair is looking just about perfect. I decided to try Studio 14 on Park after seeing the reviews here and am so glad I did! I booked in for 1/2 head of foils as part of one of their winter package specials. Troy is easily the most attentive stylist I've ever had and was very thorough in all aspects of the hair colouring, cutting and styling process. Sometimes in the past, other stylists have been a bit lazy doing my foils and I've ended up with the colour only starting ~2cm from the root (ie making it look like they have already grown out before you leave the salon) but Troy is fantastic and got really close to the root everywhere. The package also included a head massage and eyebrow wax - the massage was fine but like others have mentioned it was ~2 mins long so didn't really feel like it was worth including as part of a special. They asked if I wanted the eyebrow wax but I opted out.

This is definitely the best my hair has looked in about 5 years so as long as I can keep having Troy do my hair, I'll be going back.

Andy and the team at DVDynamics are true professionals. We weren't really sure we were going to have a videographer (we were worried about blowing out our budget) but without a doubt this was the best money spent out of it all. They used 3 cameras so they can capture the bride, the groom and the guests separately and then edit it together. The end result was a high quality "movie" of our day rather than the typical bouncy/wobbly "home-movie" type recording. We also got additional copies to give to chosen family members. They did a fantastic job on the DVD but were practically invisible throughout the day. We also received some pointers from the team on how to act in front of the camera so we didn't look too awkward in the DVD.
All round, an exceptional team, product and service from DV Dynamics.

This salon looks great and feels well furnished and styled to impress. Sadly the service is less impressive. I've been having my hair lightened using foils for about 5 years and was very disappointed with the quality of service and lack of professionalism by the JPS girls. Not only did the stylist not listen to my request regarding the colours i wanted but she failed to place the foil close enough to the root. End result - foils that looked like they were 6 weeks old!
Loved the layout of the salon, very comfortable massage chair at the hair basins, products are good quality brands.
Didn't love the steep price for a suburban salon and disappointed with the lack of attention to detail when placing the foils.
