One of my fav city restaurants to stop for dinner before a show - sushi is exquisite, love the teriyaki beef - worth the cost, was last at Choc Buddha during the Jazz Festival and was able to sit outside and watch a free show whilst enjoying my dinner!
Brilliant chips and gravy, tasty chicken rolls, yummy roast lamb, wonderful potato cakes - I love this place, the staff are friendly and know then local community well - and I have been unable to find a worthy comparison since moving away from the suburb... :-(
Approximate cost: $5
Food = brilliant (some of the best roti I have ever had), Service = staff are always very friendly and helpful, Cost = Cheap! (you can get a whole Indian feast for under $35 for 2 people), Decor = a little dated but the atmosphere makes up for it, it always packed, and the food court style set up (North and South Indian, Malaysian, Chinese and Vegetarian) makes for a great variety of food and people! We go back whenever we can! Yummo!
Approximate cost: $10.00
