I cannot fault this swimming centre. It is clean; the staff are always helpful and the lifeguards are attentive and proactive; my kids always have a great time in the Children's leisure pool; the family friendly change villages are excellent and convenient; and their swimming instructors are enthusiastic and so motivating that my kids' confidence in the water improved significantly after their first lesson!

Altogether a safe, clean, fun and family friendly atmosphere at this pool, and I highly recommend Croydon Leisure Centre for their swimming lessons too.

There's quite a range of swimming pools here including a rock pool, shallow pools for little ones, a large indoor pool and two outdoor pools.

I was initially impressed with the range of facilities on offer here that I enrolled my kids here for swimming lessons.

What a mistake! They lost my paperwork a couple of times after I had already signed forms and paid in advance; the swimming instructor appeared lifeless and unfriendly and did not engage with my kids in a motivating manner; in the showering facilities the water pressure is way too sharp, especially on young children's skin; and last Summer the air inside the large swimming dome was so thick it was unbearable, so hard to breathe especially when I was watching my kids during their swimming lessons.

Subsequently I have enrolled my children for lessons elsewhere.

This bakery is clean and well presented, and the staff are always smiling and friendly. I am a regular patron of their Apple Cakes which are so yummy and well priced! I have also tasted other treats on their menu which are just as lovely.

The Dentists at this clinic are so calm, pleasant, informative and gentle. I love how they explain what they are doing in the simplest terms throughout any procedure, putting me right at ease, especially before an extraction (which I had to have during my last visit).

What I am even more impressed about is the cost of any dental work I have had done here - this is by far the cheapest I have ever spent at the Dentist!

Availing of the post Christmas specials at Harbour Town shopping centre (during our family holiday on the Gold Coast last year) I came across this gorgeous children's clothing boutique. I found the most adorable cotton and summery jumpsuits for my toddler which I have not seen in any other shop. I also bought some comfortable cotton tops and bottoms for my toddler which were less than $6 each! Ollie's Place is definitely my recommendation for affordable boutique children's clothing on the Gold Coast.

This would have to be one of my favourite online stores when shopping for my little girls. Little YoYo Styles have clothes and accessories that are unique, super cute, functional and affordable. Postage is free and fast when my order is $20 or more, and I love how I always receive a surprise gift with each order!

I am never disappointed when I shop for boutique clothing here. The quality is superb for the price you pay. I love checking out the clothing rack outside the store front which often has casual tops and track pants at great prices. I bought some from here last year and after lots of wear and laundry washes they are still good as new!

I like shopping here when I have spare coins with me, as I always manage to find a cheap toy or novelty gift for my kids at this variety store.

However some cheap toys that I bought here didn't survive much wear and tear, but were good for temporary amusement on outings, as well as stocking fillers. After all, I get what I pay for.

I am amazed at their range of cake decorating supplies! I walked in looking for special gel colouring that I needed, to colour some fondant that I was making for my son's birthday cake. The staff served me immediately, offering helpful advice as well.

I was even more surprised at the counter, as the purchase price was much less than I expected to pay!

Very pleased with the old-fashioned courteous and helpful customer service I received.
