The food, the settings and all else were awesome. It was busy on a Saturday lunch so the service was a little slow but the rest was amazing. For people that complain about pricing, yes it is pricey but at the end of the day you get what you pay for and that is exactly what we got. A great 3 course meal. We will definitely be back.

Best food, best service and our favourite restaurant in Melbourne. The prawns are amazing. I had two entrees, a main, a dessert, truffles and coffee and it felt just right. We will keep going back.

My day started off fine, went to the Hurstbridge farmers market and then went for a walk around town to come across a grand reopening of Vintage Rose Bookshop. I was curious. The location looked much better, there were people everywhere and I thought to myself, surely they have at least improved their coffee. I saw some reviews about the coffee and thought ok lets give them another chance to be fair. Ooops, I was wrong. The coffee is still bad, maybe not the coffee itself but the way it is made. Crap, crap, crap. Hot, bitter, burnt. Now I'm sorry for what I am going to say but if people like this coffee or the lack of skills in making it then either they are comparing it to the instant coffee they have at home or they have no idea what a real well made coffee is. Try going around Melbourne to some top end coffee places and you will soon see the difference. Disappointed again. The rest of the place looks great though. As I said last time, maybe just sell books and ditch the coffee. This will avoid a negative review and showcase what you do best with the books and authors, etc.

Our family has 2-4 juices a week and it is always consistent. Our kids love it and so do we. Our favourite is Raspberry Ripe and the energiser juice. Great job.

Best Big Breakfast I have had in a very long time over the weekend. Great value at $12.90 which includes coffee.Not sure how they can afford this when down the road and elsewhere it is over $16 plus coffee. But who am I to argue for a great deal. Mind you the quality is excellent, freshly made and there is a big menu to choose from. WOW I say. Where have they been hiding?

Over the weekend I was curious to try out the coffee in a bookshop to see what it was like as I don't care much for books but needed a coffee hit. Regular latte was ordered and I thought a cute little place would serve up some decent coffee. Nope.....one of the worst coffees I have had, hot, burnt, bitter, my tongue was numb for hours. Someone with a half decent coffee machine should at least learn how to use it. There is more to making coffee than pressing buttons and turning knobs. Maybe stick to selling books....
