I have been using the Jolly Greengrocer fruit and delivery service for a number of years. It is a business owned by a local family who care very much about the service they provide. The produce is always very fresh and of excellent quality. Customers can order online or over the phone, and you can purchase boxes of "staple" fruit and veg or customise your order using the spreadsheet that is emailed weekly.

Brett also updates his blog weekly to advise what produce is in season , cost, quality, etc. The Facebook page provides links to terrific recipes. The price is higher than at the supermarket but worth it because the fruit and veg is of a much higher quality and lasts a lot longer.

Delivery to your door saves time shopping and means that there's always good food to eat. You don't have to be at home either - they will leave the delivery in a safe spot or with a neighbour. There's also the feel-good factor of supporting a local business instead of the the big supermarkets. Highly recommended!

After experiencing jaw pain another dentist told me I had impacted wisdom teeth and recommended hospitalisation and removal of two wisdom teeth under general anaesthetic. I had never even had a filling before and was very scared about it. Dr Ian Lin gave me a second opinion and assured me that he would be able to perform the extractions in the chair with local anaesthetic. He did an amazing job. I honestly felt no pain whatsoever and it cost me a fraction of the price of what I was originally quoted. He has become our family dentist and I would recommend him to anyone. He is a lovely guy who cares a great deal about doing his job well and doesn't rip you off in the process.

I have been dining at this restaurant regularly since it opened almost two years ago. Every meal has been excellent. We booked the whole place for a birthday party and our guests raved about it. Fabulous, fresh local produce, quirky decor and reasonable prices. A gem of an eatery that has been sorely needed on the north shore.

The best hairdresser I've ever been to. This man knows hair. Tyson is a terrific cutter and colourist and judging by his clientele can do everything from the blue rinse to the trendiest style. Very friendly, energetic service from a charming hair professional.

I purchased a camera and mount for my husband's motorcycle and received very helpful advice. Great initial phone communication and terrific in-store service. A hassle-free shopping experience.
