Although old, Canterbury Ice Rink has the best value skating in Sydney, especially int eh school holidays- $20 will get you a lesson and the rest of the day skating. That can be up to 5 hours worth. It can get a bit crowded sometimes. The staff are friendly and caring and so good with all those folk with little to no confidence on the ice. They were very nice to the friends we were with who were celebrating an 8th birthday- offering an unprompted gift which was a lovely surprise. My daughter was skating with aplomb after the hour lesson, thinking she was an Olympic champ.

The food here is great but I would say it is lacking in the delivery of friendly customer service, although it is improving..... It is always busy and always open for coffee, gelato, pizza. The seafood pizza is exceptional and what we go there for!

This is a great toy shop especially if you are looking for something unusual and off the grid. They have great dress ups , puzzles and educational toys. My daughter likes their range of let's pretend items such as food and furniture. It's a real gem.

This is a friendly family type cafe, with adults and children enjoying their lattes and babyccinos. The Family run business does a great mini bacon and egg ciabatta which is my favourite and good value. Their BLT is also mighty good. There are plenty of regulars who stop in for a chat or to read the paper. Great place for Saturday brunch.

This is the best value fruit and veg I have found. They also have a great delicatessen. There are many seasonal specials, I especially like the buckets of fruit they do.

Lorena's has all a woman needs to accessorise her outfit from bags to bangles. The staff are friendly and will do all they can to help you find what you are looking for to compliment your wardrobe or for a special present. My daughter thinks it's magical
