Today we had tile rescue come to our home and rescue our shower! One of the tiles had broken and water was leaking into the wall recess also the seal around the bottom of the shower was peeling off and desperate for repair.

The repairman came, he was a little later than he expected but only by 15 minutes and he did apologize for his delay. He was very friendly and set about getting the job done. He worked consistently, cleanly and professionally.

When he was done the bottom of the shower almost looked new again, he was able to give a helpful hint how to take care of the mold problem we have had since a weeks worth of heavy rain and winter moisture.

Overall it was a great experience, he even cleaned up his mess when he was done which I was pleased with as I've had many tradies who just leave the mess for you to clean up!

Would definitely call on them again for any tile/shower problems.

This year we decided to skip the Valentine's night out but decided we would have a post Valentine's lunch at "The Balcony" Swill & Grill Belmont. It was the first time we had been here and I have to say I was very impressed.

At first we were a little confused about where we were going as we went through the side entrance via the car pack through the Gunyah hotel, but one we found our way in we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our seats and offered us a menu and explained the service since we had not been here before. We sat down had a look over our menu though we had a fair idea of what we were going to order since we had looked at the menu on the website previous.

I have to say with that menu, your very spoilt for choice. We decided we would have an entree and a main, as we were planing for a small dinner.

There was a short wait for our entree, when we were finished our table was cleared and again the wait till our main was severed was only short. We arrived about 12 and business was about moderate not overly busy but not slow either.

My husband opted for an entree of "Seafood Crepes" and I had "Oysters Kilpatrick" for main we both had the "Admiral's Feast". We were very happy with our meals. The portions were a good size. The food tastes very fresh, it is well presented. It was definitely one of the best Oyster Kirkpatrick I have ever tried. My only complaint would be consistency some of the oysters didn't have much sauce while others had a lot and some of the bacon was burnt but it still tasted amazing. The admiral's feast is something like a fisherman's basket giving you a selection of fish, prawns and calamari with a beautiful side seafood salad. All cooked to perfection. The "prawn twisters" are really really nice! Something I've never seen anywhere else, a real nice surprise.

Quality: We were more than impressed with the quality of the food served here. This is far better than just "pub grub" it is a really nice dinning experience. It's fresh, the menu as a lot to chose from and we were more than happy with the flavor and size and quality of our meals.

Service: We found the staff to be very friendly. We did have a slight issue when I ordered a cocktail from the bar, I was asked if I could ordered it from the main bar as she didn't have the ingredients down there and would have to go get them... On my way back to the table another waitress told me that the bar lady was going to make it so I went back to the bar. I was a little confused by this since they have "cocktail menus" on the table so wasn't sure why they couldn't serve it but it was sorted out and I got my cocktail.

Value: It definitely a WOW! The meals are a great size, you won't be left feeling hungry! I've had similar menus else where where the meals cost the same but are half size. If your local, keep an eye out for the 1/2 price meal deal on your "shopper dockets". Makes the value even better.

Overall: The atmosphere is very casual. If anything the restaurant is only let down by the decor and the view. There are no less than 3 different chair/table combos which don't flatter and are actually a little uncomfortable and the view while over the lake is obscured by building and yacht club but come here solely for the food and I think you will be happy with what you find.

We will definitely be making this a regular on our dine out list. All in all a very enjoyable experience. One I would definitely recommend!

We have used Creer Property since moving to Newcastle several years ago. We have used Creer as our choice in rental properties and in this time have always found them to be both professional and friendly.

When the first unit we were renting went up for sale and the owner wanted Vacant possession, Creer gave us a great reference and even helped us in locating another rental.

It is a little difficult to review Creer for anything other than it's customer service as the quality of properties (in our case rentals) and Value is all dependent on what is on the market at the time. Also in regards to maintenance, is dependent on the property owners and can't really reflect on the real estate.

But we have always found the service to be excellent and professional. Whenever we have routine inspections the girls come and go quickly, communication is always good and we get plenty of notice if there are any changes i.e rent increases.

Very happy to use and very happy to recommend their services.

I use to work in a business who took Flybuys and I use to hear all the stupid things you could image like "I don't fly" or "It costs too much to get anything"

If you shop at these places anyways (i.e Coles, K-mart, Liquor land, Coles Express etc) what do you have to lose? The mistake many people make is spending to make points. If your just doing your regular shop than you will build up points easily enough.

I use my points to get "Flybuys Cash" which is the equivalent of the gift card rewards. For 2000 points you get $10 to spend.. This can be built up and you can spend it as you like.

It's really something for nothing, well something for your loyalty any how. With so many reward programs out there it's nice to find one that you'll actually get something from.

I once seen on TV that you would need to spend $20,000 to be rewarded with a toaster... I think they missed the point here you were not spending $20,000 to get the toaster you were spending $20,000 doing your shopping... So if you were going to spend that anyways... cashing your points in for a toaster would be getting the toaster for free!

Since they have changed the program it is easier for people who don't spend a lot to get rewards like Flybuy Cash. There is something for everyone with Flybuys... do it your way!

It's like the 4cent/litre vouchers... if your shopping there anyways... Why not?

This review is for Gift Sensations Gift Hampers, Alexandria NSW

verified email - 06 Feb 2013

My cousin was admitted into hospital for a couple of weeks, all he wanted to do was come home... I wanted to send him a treat and being 600km away and not being able to visit I jumped on to WOMO and started looking for hamper companies when I found Gift Sensations. I'd looked at a couple other hamper places and couldn't find what I was looking for but Gift Sensations had just what I was looking for and all for a great $9.95 delivery fee.

I ordered the hamper on Saturday so it was out side business hours but Monday I had received a confirmation of my order and it was sent out that day.

By Wednesday afternoon my hamper was delivered.

On the down side, you can't track a parcel once it is outside the Sydney Metro. (I was sending the hamper to country NSW)

But I found the hamper was great value for money, you can't argue with $9.95 delivery (specially for a 5km parcel) I have seen some hamper companies which charge over $30. It was well presented and packed. Couldn't be happier with the service I received. Would highly recommend!!

This review is for Chocolarts, Gladesville NSW

verified email - 06 Feb 2013

Trying to beat the Valentine's day rush I jumped online and made an order to Chocolarts on Monday and my order was received bright an early Wednesday morning. Now I have to hide it in the fridge from my husband!!

I bought a heart shaped box full of chocolate and what's better than a heart shaped box full of chocolate on Valentine's day?? A CHOCOLATE chocolate box full of chocolates.

The parcel arrived by express post, the chocolates where very well packed with lots of tissue paper to prevent breakage and wrapped in insulated bubble wrap. I was a little disappointed in the packaging as I've seen other chocolate companies go to a lot more trouble for the same postage cost. I've seen one which includes a reusable insulated bag for example but they do guarantee the chocolates will not melt during delivery.

Whether your looking for something unique or just a standard box of chocolates Chocolarts will have something for you. They even have a wedding chocolates range.

I was very surprised at the variety of their ranges. I don't ever recall seeing a chocolate stiletto for example. They stock a whole range of unique chocolates like motor bikes, turtles, fish, owls, motor cars etc. But some of these are not available to purchase online as they are too fragile to send.

They have two store fronts, one at The Rocks and the other Gladesville. Most of there range is available to purchase online though.

All in all a good experience. Prices are about what you would expect from fine chocolate manufacturers and chocolates very good quality. Worth a browse!

This review is for Toluna, Sydney NSW

verified email - 10 Jan 2013

I've been a member of Toluna pretty much since it opened it's doors and to be honest there are a lot better ways to make a couple of dollars or a gift card.

It takes WAY too long to get enough points together to claim your reward. I find that I might receive anything up to 5 emails offering surveys a day and not qualify for any of them despite the fact my profile is completely up to date I get all of these surveys which are not relevant to me at all.

There are a lot of every day polls etc on the web site if you sign in day to day to do these you will gain a few points here and there but the real money is made from the surveys if you can ever qualify for them.

It's become more of a nuisance than anything. Constant emails and still no reward, I have actually contemplated canceling my account because it's become that much a waste of my time.
Quality, worse survery site I've been on.

Value, while it costs you nothing but your own time, how much is your time worth to you?

Service, Average.

Overall... Might be worth a try but I'd give it a miss!

This review is for Pink Frosting, Fyshwick ACT

verified email - 10 Jan 2013

I ordered our wedding chocolates from Pink Frosting and to be honest I was very disappointed with the service. When I ordered the chocolates the availability was "Available" what I didn't know was there was an expected 4 week wait on delivery. I made my order very early as they happened to have 20% off at the time, it would seem though that they have these sales very frequently so there wasn't any need to rush. I was bombarded with "special deal" newsletters constantly but couldn't get a reply to where are my chocolates. Nor any explanation as to why the wait.

After about 3 weeks I received my order it came by courier, I was home at the time and there was no knock at the door and I found my chocolates laying on the door step. Thankfully it wasn't a hot day and my chocolates had not melted. They were not packed just thrown in the courier supplied bag, no padding and no insulation to prevent them melting which was very disappointing.

The chocolates were of a very high quality, they didn't taste like cheap over sugared chocolate which was nice. Though I have seen the same products else where at comparable prices, without the delay.

Quality is good, Service is terrible, Value is average, Overall - Do your research, beware their sales happen weekly and check the availability because while it might be available it might also take 4-6 weeks or longer before you receive your order.

I started using the Tony Ferguson program in April last year, I was very strict on myself having just the meal replacement muesli and shakes for breakfast and lunch. I bought the program book and stuck to it as best I could. I was also doing at least 30 minutes exercise 4-5 times per week.

There are 12 different shake flavors but I found only about 4 which I actually enjoyed. There are 4 different muesli flavors and this gets very bland when your having the same thing every other day.

There are a couple varieties of snack bars and chocolates but given the price of these you would be better off buying similar products like a chocolate bar or muesli bar from the supermarket and only eating half of it.

I did not try any of the soup or other products so I can not comment on those.

I was also taking a variety of supplements such as multi vitamins, fiber and 1 other because these were needed due to the lack on vitamins you get from the "food" your eating on the program. This seemed to be a pointless extra expense.

The price for the meal replacements shakes and musli is well over priced while comparable with other things meal replacements on the market but over time the cost very much out weighs the results.

I've since tried using lite and easy and found that I had substantial results with in the first week so I've continued using lite and easy and quit the Tony Ferguson program.

Customer service gives very generic responses and you feel more like your talking to a robot rather than a real person.

Free postage is a nice option when you buy several weeks worth at a time. I'd only buy enough for about a 2 week trial on the program so you can evaluate if it will work for you.

I wouldn't recommend it.

After about 6 months all I had to show for using the program was losing about 2 kilos. I was very disappointed., as I had been on the program trying to lose a few spare kilos before my wedding. So I could not recommend this weight loss program to anyone.

Being busy and looking for a way to lose weight before my wedding I was ready to try anything and had tried several other weight lose solutions without any real results so as one last attempt me and my partner thought we would give it a shot.

We decided to have the dinner only meals rather than a whole meal plan. I can say you will loose weight using lite and easy. I have lost several kilos since using lite and easy.

The down side is I love cooking and I really miss our regular dinner meals but it is a good start to losing weight, reaching the target and moving on from that.

The meals are hit and miss somethings taste great others are just horrible. It is really up to personal taste though. The meals are small so expect to feel hungry but you can substitute your own healthy snacks. Once you get use to the program you'll find you will feel less hungry as you go on.

Value is pretty good the meals equal about what you would expect to pay for your regular shopping anyways and it's convenient delivered to your door you can throw it in the freezer and pull it out as you need.

On the down side it is really just microwaved food so it tastes like it... but it is worth the results.

The customer service people are great though the website could really use an update.
