Great atmosphere, service is usually quite good. The food isn't too bad, good steak and chips lunch speacial for $10! Huge outdoor area, reaaaaaally hard to find a table on busy nights, so find a table first, before you order food or drinks. Security guards wander around regularly which is good, and there's another bar outside as well for convenience. One of my favourite places to have a cold beer and lunch during the day or night.

Approximate cost: $10-20

I love love love coming here for a $15.00 steak and mash and salad! It's one of the best steaks i've had for that price, the mushroom sauce is amazing. The girl who works in the kitchen taking the orders is ridiculously rude and blunt, she brought the final rating of the experience down for me. There is a small outside balcony area which is nice if you manage to get a seat, there are several parts of the hotel/pub you can sit, and upstairs you can bring the kids for a meal aswell! On a busy night the food takes a while, but usually worth the wait.

Approximate cost: $15

I had a great experience here. i was with several disabled children, and the staff were very helpful and lovely, even to the children. Unlike other cinemas, this one wasn't too busy at all, which is what i prefer when i see a movie. I would come back.

This review is for Newtown Thai, Newtown NSW

This place was one of the worst thai places i've been to. A friend recommended it because we were in a rush and on a tight budget that night. I got the satay chicken entree which was fatty thigh and wasn't cooked properly (i noticed after 2 bites of the satay stick) then main was mussaman beef, which was dry and bland, like it'd been sitting in the fridge and reheated several times. The place was dirty, the waitresses were wearing crocs and looked untidy and just hung around the kitchen which is just at the end of the small room which everyone eats in, and spoke to eachother the whole time not really serving anyone. That night i ended up getting food poisoning and vomitting for 48 hours afterwards!

Friendly service. The guy had some pretty good advice on a couple horror movies. Although the movies havent changed alot in the past few months, there's not many new release selections to make if you're a regular like myself. Depends what night you go there as well as to how much you pay.

Place is a bit grotty, and everyone stares at you as it's right smack bam in the middle of king st intersection. The food was quite good. The service alright. A bit too expensive for a shabby looking cafe.

I love this place, it's slightly hidden just off King st, so you don't have people staring at you eating when they walk past. The entrees are amazing. Especially the croquets. So fresh and good portions to share. The garlic beef was really good as well. I wasn't too fond of the chicken though, they didn't use chicken breast. The service was good, maybe because there was only a few people there at the time. It's also BYO as well which is good.

The place seemed a bit seedy to me, it was a hot day and it was sweltering inside, so we walked out the back part to sit down, and it stunk of sweat on the cushioned chairs, it was boiling because of the plastic roof, so we ate back inside. The food was good, i got a chicken burger. But the service wasnt great, and they had run our of tomato and wouldnt let us add avocado to a ceaser salad! overall not the greatest experience.

Best Spanish food i've had in a long time! The portions are great to share (if you get tapas) and they came out quickly and tasting fresh and pretty authentic. I liked how the staff were Spanish as well.
