Quite simply the best wedding reception venue by far in Ballarat. Great range of options for food and drinks. Food and service on the night were exeptional. Heather, the venue manager, makes the over all experience a delight, she is more than happy to assist with any issues you have up to and including the night.
Frequently visit Ferguson Plarre and have always found the food and service quite good. Their pasties are the best around, and other pastries are quite good also. On occasion the food isn't as hot as it could be. They have a large selection of cakes and sweets and also a well stocked sandwich bar.
Awesome quality all the time. Fresh hot food, very tasty. Great for lunch. Service always friendly and great magazines to read while you wait. Spring rolls are delicious but can be very filling.

Have had many instances where the need to contact telstra bigpond support has come up and have been totally dissatisfied on every occasion. Not only do you have to fumble your way through the automated phone system, once you finally get through to an operator you have more than a 60% chance of getting hung up on. I used to work on a helpdesk where i took pride in my attempts to assits the customer on ever occasion. Never did i 'accidently' hang up on a caller when i didn't know the resolution to their problem. After so many experiences i am starting to think that telstra support has a policy set for staff to ignore the customer and try and get them off the phone as quickly as possible, and if the problem can not be solved, there seems to be no second level support so you get hung up on. At present i have an ongoing email issue which is about to be referred to the TIO.
Had 2nd lot of pizzas from Rio Bravo last night and was not disappointed in the least. Pizza was tasty with plenty of toppings. Service was quite friendly too.

Frequently visit this fish shop. Have a couple of times had parts of order forgotten but mostly very good. Shop has improved their quality of chips immensely in past few months. Fish is consistently tasty and moist, chips now come crunchy on outside and fluffy on the inside. Potato cakes are the best in town.
2nd time visiting this restaurant. Food is awesome. Take note that if you order an entree you would be advised to share a main as both are huge. Exceptional meals at an exceptional price. Friendly service, only too happy to accommodate children/babies.

Fairly ordinary over all. 3 people ordered the scotch steak from the menu only to be told that the menu was misprinted and should have read porterhouse. so people changed order to rump steak only to be told at the time our mains were due to be served that they in fact did not have rump so would be substituted with rib-eye so obviously our mains were delayed for approx 40 minutes. Quality of food was less than average.
