I rang Andrew and organised for him to come over to replace my shower washers. He took some time over the phone explaining the benefits of the very soft washers he users - easy to turn off and long lasting. While he was over I also asked about a problem I was having with my toilet and he adjusted it accordingly.

Andrew also told me it is no longer illegal to change your own washers. He encouraged me to take notes so I can have a go at it myself next time.

I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew.

I have always found Frisks to be reliable, honest and reasonably priced. I have no hesitation recommending them. Whenever I have an issue with my car they are happy to look at it free of charge and my not necessarily charge me if it is a very minor 5 minute job or just a matter of providing advice.

I phoned Daniel and told him I wanted locks on two doors in my bedroom (one leads to the bathroom) as I am advertising for a boarder and don't want them to be able to interfere with my pc/phone etc which are all in my bedroom. We discussed possible options and I described my doors and he said he would bring a variety of door knobs so I could choose an appropriate one.

When he arrived he had a good quality door knob that matched my wooden doors very well. I was pleased with this as I knew my wooden door knobs would have to be replaced and I wanted it to still look "right"

I gave Daniel my cheapest quote from the other two locksmiths (who had not seen the job but just quoted via email) and he under-cut it by $9.

There was a lot of work involved as Daniel discovered my door frames are made of very hard wood and he had to shift the "lock into hole" as the door had sunk and because it is a different style of door knob.

Since he did not have exact change I got it even cheaper than the original quote (no guarantees this will happen again!)
