love popping in here from time to time just to have a nice quick bite to eat and a delicious coffee or hot chocolate. best bit is the ambiance and the smell of dome coffee hot and fresh from the barista area. This cafe has the extra menu which offers a few meals including a range of pizzas and a selection of nibbles for a platter of hot bite sized treats, as well as the homemade pie and hand cut chips. My partner and I shared a tasting platter and chose the chicken pieces, crumbed squid pieces and meatballs with 3 accompanying sauces. YUM! My partner had a mocha and said the flavour was strong, rich bodied and aromatic, while I had a hot chocolate and it was rich and creamy, so I felt satisfied. Meal prices standard $10-20 roughly from memory, but not a bad meal. Sat in two big comfy large armchairs and watched the outside world go by. Not a great deal of scenery, but there's the standard dome decor and ceiling artwork to admire. Good place for quick meet up, coffee with buddies or for a meal with family or that special someone. Staff are pleasant and SMILE! :)

this. place. is. awesome.
massive portioned cheap eats, great varied menu and all in an arty farty wickedly awesome old fashioned diner, with outlandishly cool decor, artworks and random objects dotting the walls and one off pieces of furniture. separate area out the back and one that offers a different dining experience to the front diner area. fully licensed bar and also has table games available for hire for when there's a few people together looking to kill a few hours. live entertainment every night. has a very student feel but business people do come for late night dinner and coffee too. I'd suggest bringing kids during lunch time. baby highchairs are available as well, although the place at night time is packed to the rafters with adults and the place can become quite loud. this place has eclectic and friendly staff, bottle watter as soon as you are seated. it's just a very quirky casual place to come and you can never be bored! i really could go on but this is a place to experience for yourself - definitely for the adventurous type!

Delicious food, huge serves of food and good value for money. I had the rose pasta, the combination is divine. you can bring your own alcohol only, I brought a bottle of red along, and dined during dinner time around 7. Interior decor is in need of a fresh coat of paint, and restaurant layout is a bit weird with toilet door entrance in between cash register area and staff/kitchen areas but my visit overall was pleasant, with a nice atmosphere, in a nice clean restaurant area and lovely restaurant owner and staff. I noticed that the menus have just been re designed, and I think this restaurant has potential to go further and hopefully stay around longer. Apparently, it's the place to go for the biggest meal in the area and where you get a good plate price to go with it. the most expensive meals would be around the $20 mark. I've also tried their salads and pizzas, their Troy special pizza is a very popular one and I highly recommend this to anyone. If there's any ingredients I don't like, I just ask them to take it out and they are just pretty casual about it all. Very laid back people and other customers. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and the old pizza bases are back! YUM!
