Ok.. Different... This is an Indian/Pizza restaurant located on Bulleen Road in Nth Balwyn.
They have a bunch of pizzas on the menu all with an indian touch.. Not bad.. Nothing too weird eg. Tandoori Chicken pizza (you can picture it right?)

The Curries are nice and the service is good too. There is ample parking around the restaurant and if you want takeaway you wont be dissapointed. Give them a go.
Oh and the place is never empty.. So yes, the locals like it.

Great little Italian restaurant for lunch with clients or for dinner. A nice spread on the menu ranging from Pastas, antipastos, steaks, Parmigiana chicken/veal.

I really recommend this if you want a nice traditional style Italian meal. The inside will remind you of some Italian family's outside kitchen so it has a nice authentic feel to it. And the food is casalinga (home style)

Im not sure who is eating here and what they are thinking with all these 4 and 5 star ratings...
I guess I compare the food to how La Prochetta used to be.. But its not anymore!
The food is Sh!t and the meat and dairy is the typical franchised D grade quality.

I ate half the pizza and couldn't anymore.. A Capriciosa i think...

Maybe if you are not of Italian/European descent you might think the food is ok. Kinda like me thinking that some chinese food is the best, but a lot of chinese people would be like... "what the?"

Anyway, you might or might not like it.. Try if you like... Still cheap tho which is good!

I remember eating here when i was a kid. Was nice lil italian restaurant.

Do a google search on this place. and you will find a) The place comes up as Italian/Middle Eastern b)Absolutely Crap Reviews.

Why does it come up as Mid East.. I'll tell ya, Lebansese chaps bought it a while back and now you will struggle to put the slop down your throat.
Do NOT get me wrong, i love Lebanese food but how many Chinese restaruants would be nice if Italians were the owners and chefs...? you know what i mean.
Anyway.. Just don't eat here... ever. OH and don't get fooled by the seemingly Italian guy at the front trying to tempt you to come in and eat, he is hired to give the impression of authentic italian cuisine.
This is an example of what has destroyed much of Lygon St.

Ok.. This is a Sri Lankan/Indian eatery in the food court under 600 Bourke St. I love this place. The food is really good and the staff are friendly.
The cook is a Sri Lankan genltleman who makes a great curry. Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka are great.
Food is not expensive but great quality.

Great german restaurant with a wide variety of Sausages, Schnitzel, Saurkraut and many other authentic dishes...
The place looks very german and if you go on a friday/saturday night its packed. There is a live band and the guy to runs the place (german guy) gets involved yodeling and singing along. Can be good fun.

The dishes are quite good. Usually i order an entre of sausage and the Weiner Schnitzel with a side of Mash and Saurkraut. You can "upgrade" to the giant weiner schnitzel for $2 and that hardly fits on the plate!!! I still order it tho.. its great.

Definitely a place i reccomend. Good for a business lunch or a laugh with mates at night.

This Taco Bill's is not too far from where I live. Go there every now and again because its convenient and has good food.
The girl who works there is real nice and often discounts us because we are regulars.. (The way businesses used to be run).
Good food, good service, good serving sizes, good parking and if you like mexican why not.

Great little in and out kinda place. Another 15 dumpling for $7 kind of restaurant. Service is quick, expect your meal in 5 mins. Sometimes you share a table with randoms if the table is big and the place is packed(which it usually is). STill a great place. 2 Big eating guys can eat for less than $30 and be totally stuffed.
Eg. 45 dumplings (pork chicken beef) would cost you $21. And a fried rice another $6-7.
Pretty good value i think. Have eaten there over a dozen times and like it.

This restaurant has been already summed up fairly well by previous members.

TerraNova make a great pizza and use high quality ingredients which make them that way.

I have been a great number of times and they always impress. There is a lot of crap out there people. For example.. what Porchettas has become, what 3/4 of lygon street has become and other.
If you want a really good woodfired pizza that doesnt compromise on their ingredients/taste and service. Give them a go. ~$14 a pizza I would say is about right for the quality you are getting. If you want an $8 pizza, call dominos and detox later.

Approximate cost: $15
