Workshop Espresso sells probably the best coffee in the Sydney CBD area. The staff are always so polite and friendly. They also sell Cronuts, donuts, sandwiches, croissants etc and they're all pretty good.
Pablo and Rustys is a pretty good cafe in the area, the coffee and food is nice. The baked goods are great too, only problem is that is gets so busy.
Great place to eat German food and drink biers with mates on a Friday night or the weekend. The food is really good, I especially like the pork knuckle. Great fun atmosphere too.
Cacao Fine Chocolates and patisserie is a fantastic place to get a deluxe chocolate fix. Their eclairs are quite nice. Their chocolate is great and so is the salted caramel spread in the jar.
Hardware Societe was one of the most recommended places to eat breakfast in Melbourne. I liked the place and the food, but the fact that you can't make any alterations such as getting one thing removed off a menu item seemed silly.
Brunetti is a must visit when you go to Melbourne, this place is awesome. I love going to Brunetti for strong coffee and my wife likes the Italian hot chocolate.
Bamboodle is a tiny small Thai Restaurant on the ground floor of Westfield Parramatta. I like going here when I need a quick Thai food fix and cannot be bothered going to Church Street. Food is good, especially the stir fries.
A visit to Leura is not complete until you make a pit stop at The Candy Store. The Candy Store reminds me of when I was a child because they sell so much lollies and chocolate that I used to eat as child. At one time they sold chocolate sticks (aka chocolate cigarettes)
Red Door is a nice little cafe in Leura. The Red Door sells decent food such as bacon and eggs, sandwiches and baked goods such as croissants.
The Lappo is a great local place to catch with mates to watch the footy and have a drink on the weekend. The food is great and the service is good too. Quite convenient when I don't want to go to the city.
