I bought my first lap top from this little private owner store and was so immensely impressed with the personal service I received, Malcolm spent alot of time with me and gave me a great deal. This shop also deals with data recovery, virus removal etc.. They do have an online support system, yet I ring if I need anything and always get the advice I need over the phone.

This pretty little shop offers clothing imported from France. The quality is absolutely beautiful and perfect fit for me. They have fashion accesories as well. Something different, as you won't find these clothes anywhere else as the owner travels to France every year to do her buying.

This Yoga centre run by Shanti (who is an amazing human being) offers so much more than just the practice of yoga (breathing, exercise, stretching & relaxing). They teach positive thinking, have cooking classes (vegetarian), detox retreats and even Bollywood dance classes. A very interesting place.

This is one of the best value for quality fresh meat, chicken & pork supplier. You walk into the 'freezer' (make sure you have warm clothes), and there is everything you want, clearly marked at the best prices. We buy steaks, chicken fillets, rissoles, roasts.... and even our kitchen knives and spices here. Always excited to go and do our shop here.

The Observation Deck is located on Level 77 & 78 of the iconic Q1 Building, one of the world's tallest residential towers, the highest point above the Gold Coast and offers spectacular 360 degree views from the surf to the hinterland and beyond. I take visitors there for the view, coffee & cake and there is a video playing there that gives the History of the Gold Coast which is so interesting.

I so much enjoy the food here, especially the unique menu of Schnit-a-licious range offering 10 different types of schnitzels. It has a sports bar but we play Keno at our dining table. KIDS ROOM - Amusement machines, play stations, indoor playground, designated kids screen so going here as a family is brilliant. On Fri & Sat night they have a fairy there who is very entertaining too.

I enjoy this relaxing chill out cafe everytime I go, the location is perfect and you can choose to sit more privately inside or outside overlooking the beach. The food is very good (especially the cakes). The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful & friendly.

Currumbin surf club is in one of the best locations at Elephant Rock. It overlooks the water with huge open glass windows, and even better if you can get a table outside on the balcony on a pleasant day (a bit cold if it's not). This is a special place to take interstate visitors for lunch.

Swingin Safari is not your usual type of venue, it is like going to an aunts place to hang out, a 1970's style Queensland beachhouse. It was more popular a year or two ago, but if you are looking for somewhere different to go for a drink (slightly bohemian), or some tapas & a bit of music.. then this is the place to go.

This is the newest and most exhilarating adventure experience on the Gold Coast, SkyPoint Climb is Australia's highest external building climb, and once up there you can enjoy breathtaking 360 degree views of the Gold Coast region. SkyPoint Climb is a must-do attraction... climbing to the top of the Q1 building which is 270 metres above sea level. You can also buy Gift Certificates which I did for my partners daughter & boyfriend - the 4 of us went together and had a memorable day.
