I bought my first lap top from this little private owner store and was so immensely impressed with the personal service I received, Malcolm spent alot of time with me and gave me a great deal. This shop also deals with data recovery, virus removal etc.. They do have an online support system, yet I ring if I need anything and always get the advice I need over the phone.

At my first purchase Status computers saved me hundreds of dollars simply by giving me honest advice and NOT trying to 'upsell' the parts required. My son required a new graphics card and after numerous other computer stores tried to hard sell me high end cards (between $500 and $1000) status computers simply asked what WE needed and offered a suitable card at less than $100. Knowing i knew little about computers OTHER stores had tried to scare and confuse me into purchasing the most expensive product on the shelf, some even offered products that i now know would not have even worked on my sons pc. Status focused on our needs and even took the time to explain the product (without making me feel like an even bigger idiot) I wouldn't buy computer parts or repairs anywhere else!
