I had the Co2 Skin resurfacing done to remove acne scars on my face. I was nervous as my pain threshold is very low.
However, the overall treatment was not painful at all, just a little tingling around my face.
I would like to share my experience:
On the day of the treatment I applied numbing cream prior to the treatment. During the treatment I was given cold air to minimise the heat on my skin.
1st day: My skin feels warm and tingling, as though I have bad sunburn.
2nd day: Skin starts to appear red and face was a little swollen.
3rd day: Skin appears darker, swelling has subsided and scabs formed
4th day: Dry skin and scabs starts to fall off, visible pink baby skin.
5th day: Almost 80% of scabs has fallen off, noticed a huge improvement on my scarring, skin appears rosy and supple.
6th-7th day: All scabs has fallen off, skin was smooth, visible improvement on my acne scars.
I am very happy with the result and I don’t have to spend hours putting make up to cover my imperfections. I am really thankful and appreciate CMC and my clinical director for helping me to gain back my confidence and I highly recommend anyone who suffers from acne scars to this treatment.
