I have always been happy with the service etc at Sunshine Mitre 10 in Caloundra. They are in the street behind bunnings, but if I want good advice and I am in a hurry, I go to mitre 10, they seem to have quite a few staff, and have always been able to answer any questions I have. I shopped there about two months ago, as the toilet at home was leaking and I went to mitre 10 to figure out how to fix it. The guy that served me was great, he told me what he thought the problem was and showed my what I would need to buy, I took it all home and ended up fixing the toilet and I think that it has saved me heaps compared to if I had had to ring a plumber.

Whenever I go to the supermarket, I always have a look on the back of the receipts to check the hot dockets. I have used a number of different dockets, most recently I used a pizza coupon last week which probably saved me about $8 per pizza, I got three pizzas, so it was a pretty good deal I thought and I will continue to keep using them.

Wotif.com is the only way I organise, find and pay for accomodation these days. I have found that the prices on wotif are excellent, and I have always been able to find accomodation that suits for the price I want to pay, all without leaving the lounge. I have found that the descriptions of the accomdation is good too. I last got accomodation from wotif just before Easter this year down at the gold coast and it was exactly as described.

I went to the sunshine plaza last week, I usually park in the car park outside of Myer. On my way walking through Myer to get to the other shops I went past the book section, that I love. I ended up buying a cookbook for less half what is was before Christmas, so was very happy with the price. The service was good too and there were no crowds or waits when I was here last week. Great place to look through when looking for presents.

I have been going to pacific fair for many years. I have always loved the beautiful tropical type gardens everywhere and the fact that a lot of the shopping centre is outside, which is great on beautiful sunny days. There is every shop you could want here, from coles, woolies, kmart, toys r us, target, myer etc. the food court is huge, there is lots of parking and you will be sure to get a good park if you get there at opening time. I was last here about three months ago, and had a great day, spent too much money! And had a really nice lunch..

Stockland shopping centre is "the" shopping centre in caloundra. I end up here at least once a week. There is plenty of parking and a big draw card is that they have coles, kmart and heaps of other specialty shops. In the last week, I have been into coles, kmart, the cheap shop, EB games all in the last week. Everything is nice and flat, no stairs etc, and on the couple of occasions that I have had to rimg centre management to ask opening times etc, they have been very helpful.

I had to go into the night owl at caloundra last week, I had promised to buy the kids a chocolate bar and thought that since I was down the street, it would be much quicker and easier to go into the night owl, instead of going to the supermarket. There was plenty of choice, and the guy serving was very cheery and helpful. I noticed while I was there, that they have a really good range of all kinds of drinks, chips etc and they sell the local paper too.

I end up going to woolworths at currimundi around once a week on my way to or from work to pick up a few things. There is plenty of parking which is good, and I have always found the staff here to be quite quick, friendly and helpful. I like the bakery section there, and got some nice breadrolls there last week. They often have all the cool, seasonal type stuff for Christmas etc in the right front corner of the store, good woolies to shop at.

The caloundra surf shop is a great surf shop, I went there in March this yeat, as I was looking for a birthday present, I wanted some kind of a surf type chain type thing for a teenage guys birthday. I found one that I liked, the recipient ended up really liking it too, so job well done! The guy at the counter was helpful and quick, I had to ask for what I was after when I first went into the shop and he happily showed me where they were.

Party planet is across the road from the sunshine plaza and next to the optical superstore, I first noticed it when I went there to go to the optical superstore actually. I ended up buying a bag full of stuff for my daughters birthday party at the end of last year, I got take home bags, plastic bangles, balloons, stickers, streamers and some candles from here. It is a well stocked shop with everything you would need decoration wise for a party. The ladies that were serving were helpful and looked like they really enjoyed their job. Will go back when we have another party.
