I purchased some jewellery for my mother for her birthday and Christmas and was really unsure of what to get in a charm. The sales lady asked about my mother, her interests and what sort of person she was and offered me the perfect charm (and I mean perfect) - the prices were great, the service was so above par and way more than I ever expected. I was offered chocolates whilst I shopped and my presents were happily wrapped each differently but so perfectly and it made my busy life easier. I have never had such an easy time in a jewellery store before - I will go back repeatedly and I have told all my friends - they were amazing and so considerate.

Love, Love, Love this bread - Basilio's does the best sourdough, the café was great and I love that there are so many stockists around Ballarat - means I can always get good bread to go with my cheese.

Great to see this place re-opened - more upmarket meals, great atmosphere and a gorgeous place to hang out and catch up with friends on a cold winters day.
ps the food is great :)
Such a lovely place to spend time, the maze and gardens are gorgeous - loved my coffee and the kids loved their ice skating experience - so much fun and the owners and staff are a delight - brilliant for a family day out.
Really happy with my selection of cheeses - yummy, creamy little mouthfuls of deliciousness - I can't wait to go back and eat some more, but some more and spend more time in Tassie - well worth a visit.

Great selection of chocolate, lollies, UK and USA chocolate bars. The owners are lovely and offer good service and banter - I went with a girlfriend and couldn't stop laughing the whole time.

Rude service, no exception for dietary requirements and only told after ordering they were too busy and we'd have to wait over 50 minutes (for a shared pizza), drinks were going to be at least 20 mins - they arrived after 25 minutes and our pizza (which I couldn't eat) was 55 minutes. The staff were rude, wouldn't get clean glasses for water despite floating around constantly. I wanted to eat here for ages and the experience was so disappointing I would never recommend it to anyone as the staff act so superior - perhaps it was a bad day for them, but I will not waste my time and energy going back. My friends did say the pizza was delicious but not worth the wait.

As a person with food sensitivities - I was lumped into the too hard basket, they were unable to prep anything to suit despite a phonecall before coming. My family raved about the food and I drank tea throughout the evening - couldn't even get honey to with it, just sugar and the barman looked disgusted when I asked for honey and did the whole look around you, do we look like a tea bar? Really annoying I couldn't eat and felt really unwelcome with the poor attitude. I know it's a restaurant and I know it's a big ask, but they make fresh salads but will ONLY serve what's on the menu. On the upside everyone else in my group raved about the delicious food and portion size - it's a super cool place to hang out and the atmosphere is generally really cosy and nice.

Went to a 70'th birthday party there - the woodfired pizza was made to perfection and the saganaki was awesome - really nice atmosphere and attentive wait staff who were really understanding and aware of food allergies and sensitivities and were happy to make something special just for me - really wonderful experience.
Nice decaf coffee, not the best but very drinkable and the atmosphere and staff more than make up for this - it's always busy and the music is great so definitely a place to come back to time and time again.
