Being new to any self-defence or martial arts, I was apprehensive about how I would 'fit-in' particularly being a woman and with martial arts being traditionally male-dominated. I was pleasantly surprised that there were many other women who regularly attend and I have always felt very welcome and comfortable.
The instructors are highly skilled and always provide a safe and fun environment for everyone.
The skills that we learn are real-world based. I hope I never have to use any of them, but I feel that if I encountered a situation I would be a lot more comfortable defending myself.
