This review is for The Polish Place, Tamborine Mountain QLD

This is a quaint little spot on Mt Tamborine with an amazing view over the mountain. The hosts are very welcoming coming out and talking to the guests and explaining the meals which having not had Polish before was quite different. The meal itself was very tasty, my only disappointment was that my pork knuckle was boiled rather than baked so didn't have the crackle which I love but I understand that is a different way to cook it. Definitely check it out if you are visiting the mountain.

The Canungra Hotel is a great country pub which turns on great wood fired pizzas. The quality of food is surprisingly good given its location. It is a great fun place to go for a few beers and some good food.

This place certainly has promise but I was disappointed as my burrito was quite bland. I liked the ordering system which was old school where you tick what you want, burrito, meat, rice, salsa, salad, etc. However the price for what you got was quite expensive, Guzman y Gomez is cheaper, bigger and tastier. I think if they put a bit more flavour into their meats and got fresher lettuce this place could definitely be a winner.

This used to be our local corner store at the end of our street. They are extremely friendly and always willing to help with cheap coffee, starting at $2.50 when we first lived there and now $3.50. They also do a great bacon and egg roll for $5 and good fresh tasty burgers. Their groceries are also surprisingly reasonable and have a good stock of NZ groceries.

Great choice of bagels here, although apparently they don't make them on site which takes some points away. They come up with some really fresh and tasty fillings though and its a great little spot to stop at for a bite and a coffee. My favourite is the one with everything and you can even chuck a hash brown on it.

Had a beer here before going to the movies and was impressed. It looks like a nice little restaurant and they have a good drinks list with a decent selection of craft beers and cocktails. Although we didn't have any food the menu looked very nice and we saw some good food come out.

Had a very nice breakfast here on a busy Sunday morning. Although it was busy and we didn't have a booking they still found a spot for us and the meals and drinks came out quickly. My mince was tasty and came with a great fried egg and tasty guacamole and a nice big side serve of bacon. My wife and sister were impressed with their meals also. The only disappointment was my milkshake which was quite average and expensive for what it was.

Good little bar and restaurant in Rosalie right next to the Blue Room cinemas. We stopped here for a drink and a couple of nibbles after the movies. It's a nice little spot and then have a good range of drinks and some great sounding tapas. My wife loved her espresso martini and my drink was good also as were the tapas which were bought out very quickly. The arancini were very tasty and the honey dipping sauce worked great.

This review is for Siri Thai Restaurant, Alderley QLD

This is definitely the best Thai restaurant that I have been to in Brisbane. The food is delicious and fresh, their goong prawns were amazing and my cashew nut duck was brilliant. I loved that they have gone different to the standard chicken and cashew nuts. The food is fresh, cheap and tasty and although further away to home than other thai restaurants I will definitely be going back there over the others. Great little find!

This place is awesome! In an absolute perfect spot in Fremantle on the water where you can literally drive your boat up to the dock and hop out and have a beer. The food is great also with good wood fired pizzas and tasty burgers. The location and the beers is what brings people here, yes it can get busy and noisy but it is a massive venue and a prime location.
