This place seemed convenient when we first got to Halls Gap, and ordered hamburger deals with chips for $12.50 and fish and chips. The fish was not fresh and burger was oozing. The place didn't seem that clean and luckily we realised better eateries were at stony creek later on. This place is like a roadhouse.

This place is part of the Stony Creek Stores, and whilst a let bit more expensive and different from Black Panther, the meals are reasonable and above all they have free wifi, which helped us out heaps. Was great alternative for lunch.

Coola's Icecreamery in the Stony Creek Stores complex, Halls Gap is a very welcoming ice cream parlour at the beginning of the stores. I purchased a child ice cream and adult home made waffle and price is very reasonable under $3 for child, 1 scoop for adult was about $4ish. Lots of flavours to choose from, definitely worth the visit after a hard day in the mountains.

When I went past this store I notice an advert for the best vanilla slice. I went in and bought one. Price was reasonable around $3, but it was very light, ie they use flake pastry to sandwich the custard. The pies are good and makes it nice to grab a quick bite here before venturing into the mountains.

We had dinner here and I had a large gourmet pizza for $17 and I couldn't finish it. Set out very well amongst the Stony Creek shops this place is very family friendly and we all enjoyed the food and the service. Definitely a place to eat when you are in Halls Gap

Had dinner here on a Sunday night and spent between $14 -$17 for mains, and under $10 for child. Garlic bread was $4. The food was absolutely fresh, and was a pleasant experience. Serves were generous and staff were friendly. It is great having a place like this which is family friendly, not expensive and has quality food. Place is very clean and well set out on a corner of main street. Totally recommend

This place is not new but the rooms are spacious, beds are great, and above all this place really has Customer SERVICE!!! We spent 3 nights here in a room with queen and single bed, a big shower room, own sink and microwave, free wifi, free washing machine and dryer in 2 guest laundry rooms and spent $160 per night. They also provided 3 breakfast packs for the 3 every day, and the place is really family friendly as it has a half court tennis playing arena indoors, swimming pool, 2 spas, a billiard table, table tennis table, a workout gym, spa and the reception is open from 7am to 9pm. The thing that got me was that all staff bent over backwards to get you things or assist you in anyway. The place is down the road to Sovereign Hill and is just a great place to be. Lots and lots to do in Ballarat, well worth the visit and do yourself a favour book Sovereign Park Park Motor Inn, as you wont be disappointed. I'll be going back for sure

Stayed 2 nights in this place and it cost $180 per night after RAA discount, and the room was absolutely awesome. Great beds, great spa bath, very spacious for a queen bed and single. TV was great with dvd player. Only donside was no free wifi and you had to pay for guest laundry. The biggest downside was the guy at reception. He was very droll and really did not assist any in way. Was a real pity as the place is fantastic and clean with the kangaroos coming close to the door, has a great little playground and bbq area. Would recommend this place even if it has that guy at reception.

Spent 1 night in this motel for $140 in a queen superior. When we entered room we were taken aback as it was spacious and seemed to have everything we wanted. on closer inspection when we opened the mini fridge there was mould in there which had been sitting there for a while, and considering they had cleaned and restocked the mini bar I found it disgusting. Also the temp was very low. When I asked them to clean they finally came up with just a chux wipe, so desk service was very low. The other thing we found was all items seemed to have had their fair wear and tear and really needed some updating. The toilet kept running and there was this very industrial noise from outside coming through during the night. In it's day this place would have been a great hotel but seems to have been allowed to run down.

Dr Polasek treated me for a lung condition, and whilst he is not cheap he is very thorough and drops everything to do things in a quick and tidy manner. He organised a procedure within a day whilst I was in emergency and was very professional and caring. Great bedside manner and a pleasure to have as a specialist. totally recommend for respiratory or sleep.
