On the whole, a positive experience, although I was forced to wait around 25 minutes for a haircut even though I had made a prior booking.
The food is always high quality and generous in its proportions. Service staff are friendly, though it can sometimes take a while before food is ready. One of my favourite thai restaurants!
Head to Red Silks for a quick dining experience where prices are cheap but food is decent. The outdoor, heated area is refreshing yet not too cold, whilst the indoor couches are wide comfortable.
Approximate cost: $9
The soups and noodles taste very authentic, and the free accompanying bean sprouts, vietnamese mint and coriander is a huge plus. However, apparently this restaurant has been shut down before due to poor hygiene practices. Not sure if I'll be going there again.
The hairdressers listened carefully to what I wanted and frequently asked me for my opinion during the cut. Their haircuts are stylish and prices are reasonable
I've only ever bought the sushi from Yoyogi, but each time it's fresh, tasty and usually there are special deals available e.g. 4 rolls for $8. The staff are enthusiastic and I would definitely go back again.
Approximate cost: $2.20
My favourite is the hazlenut milk tea, which is smooth and tasty. Jelly or tapioca pearls cost an additional 50c but are well worth it! Staff are efficient.
Approximate cost: $3
This store is a bit dingy but service and quality of drink matches what you'd expect from a bubble milk tea station. Loyalty cards are available.
Approximate cost: $3
Food looks and tastes authentic, whilst prices are average. It can be quite packed and noisy in here, which is probably why the staff don't stick around long after you've placed your order. Nevertheless 'tis a decent place and tea is free!
Approximate cost: $10
New Zealand Naturals offers a range of fat free products, which is a plus, but what I find is their generosity when it comes to the size of the ball of ice cream is inconsistent.
