This place has amazingly cheap pizzas! It gets packed out too, so that's a good indication of the incredible value. The atmosphere is relaxed and the outdoor area is great when it's warmer.

This place is so spotless, which is fantastic, and the one of the many reasons we feel confident taking friends and family to dine there. The pizzas are to die for and the garlic bread is right up there too. With great service and value, we happily go back time and time again.

The A1 Bakery always has incredibly tasty pastries. This store is perfect for lunch, with great value on pretty much everything. I recommend trying the pizzas - they are the best.

This review is for The Corner Shop, Yarraville VIC

The Corner Shop Cafe resembles the kind of cafe you would find in around North Fitzroy or Brunswick, with the very relaxed feel, child friendly and yet trendy, grunge feel. Great coffee, indoor and outdoor dining. It's a great place to go for a lunch meeting or coffee catch up. I highly recommend the big breakfast, which i believe is served all day on Sunday's.

This review is for Silver Key Cafe, Rutherglen VIC

verified email - 15 Dec 2010

The Silver Key Cafe has a really funky, retro feel to it with early coca cola memorabilia, movie posters and the like. It gives the place a strange sense of familiarity, which is almost completely extinct from modern milk-bar cafes. The hamburgers are particularly good but the service is even better.

This review is for Werribee Plaza Tavern, Hoppers Crossing VIC

We had the $12 parma meal deal and it was well worth it's value. The plates were heaped including chips and a nice salad on the side. The service was quick and friendly even though it was quite a busy mid week night. We all could not finish our meals, we still had at least a quarter left. Very nice meals and the place was spotless, which is really nice compared to some eateries that i have been to in shopping complexes before. Would definitely go back.

This review is for Battle Bunker, Northcote VIC

verified email - 15 Dec 2010

Battle Bunker is one of those rare little nuggets that when you have a hobby, are so hard to find. Battle Bunker has everything from kits, paints, and almost every hobby tool you will need, as well as being able to commission staff to build pieces for you, if you just don't have the time. That's not even the best part though, Battle Bunker's real strength lies in it's gaming club and ability to host events. There are heaps of tables for hobbyists to game on, they hold regular tournaments, demonstrations and workshops. Anyone who's into miniatures, should definitely go here.

This review is for Royal Hotel Clifton Hill, Clifton Hill VIC

verified email - 15 Dec 2010

The Royal Hotel is quite a pleasant place to go for a drink, it's got a very nice size bar that runs in an L shape so that staff can see you from across the room if your thirsty. The two pool tables are in good repair and are enjoyable to play on. Fat Yack is served on tap and tastes fantastic. Meals are a little on the expensive side but the place is always packed, so there must be others that can see what i cant. Just a very relaxed, enjoyable place to go for a drink.
