Mannys is a very well presented store being clean, neat and shiny. They have some absolutely beautiful guitars and the staff are very enthusiastic for you to try them out. The style of service in music stores such as Mannys seems to be on its own little tangent, staff are often disinterested to the point of arrogance, which takes away somewhat from the experience. The store offers service and repairs and these are of high quality. The kind of place you would recommend going with a friend, so at least you will have some conversation.

Campbells has somewhat established itself as more of a upper class, or fine dining experience. However, in my opinion, i don't enjoy their wines as much as the price tells me that i should. Having said that, Campbells is a very well presented and pleasant place to visit, particularly around Christmas and the many regular visitors would suggest that there is definitely a good reason why.

Glenroy Music is your run of the mill local music store. The service is OK, but i wouldn't really recommend frequenting the place unless you have a fair idea about what your doing. They do run classes and are able to order products in if they are not in stock. However if this is urgent, i would suggest shopping around. This particular store would be right at home in a rural area, but faces much more competition here in Melbourne.

All Saint's is stunning, it really must be seen to be appreciated. With it's long rows of hedging, beautiful tree-lined driveways and the castle itself. It's a beautiful place to take the family for an afternoon meal and the quality of All Saint's wines speak for themselves. I highly recommend the Cream Sherry for those of you who like something on the sweet side. You can also catch live performances there in a Day on the Green. One of the true gems of the area.

O'hea Bakery is of unquestionable quality. The foods great, the coffees great, the people are wonderful. It is really hard to find a business that really has it all, in the way that O'hea Bakery does. Parking is plentiful and the service is top-notch, somewhere to really feel at home.

Buller's Winery, located on the outskirts of Rutherglen, is a wonderful place, particularly if you are bringing your family along. It not only has beautiful wines, particularly the reserve muscats, but has a wonderful bird park on site, which the family can tour. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area, as you won't be disappointed.

Ito is certainly one of the stand out Japanese restaurants in Melbourne. It is authentic, well decorated and a pleasure to dine. The meals themselves are absolutely delicious, particularly the ramen, which is not only of amazing quality but of amazing value as well. Indeed, i laughed at my mate when he first took me there and told me i wouldn't be able to finish a bowl of soup. Needless to say, he hasn't let me forget that one.

Chambers is certainly one of my favourite places on earth. It's beautiful wines are an asset to not only the winery but to the region in general. They have cellar door tasting almost every day of the year. And i would challenge anyone to go in and taste without walking out without at least one bottle. Located on the famous Rutherglen muscat trail, Chambers is a must visit for anyone even remotely interested in wine.

Been to the Red Pepper once and had a pleasant evening. They had friendly staff, well priced meals and a nice, quiet atmosphere. Happy to go back for sure.

This hotel has great specials during the week, you really can't beat the value they offer here. The staff are fantastic, very efficient, and keep everything clean and tidy, which is a big plus for me.
