Typical run of the mill Chinese run Japanese/Sushi eatery. Sashimi was as expected not fresh - it was quite tasteless. The food served is more like a fusion of chinese and japanese styles. So if you're looking for authentic japanese then look else where...but if you're after a quick take out of sushi rolls then Aki Sushi is for you.

Cheap and quick, decently sized eatery. If you are in the area and need something quick to eat then this would be the place for you. Ordered soup based noodles...nothing really to complain about..though nothing really special either.

Liezl's cakes/cupcakes look AMAAZING...such that we didn't want to eat them! She can cater to what ever kind of event you are holding - baby showers, birthdays, cocktail parties, anniversaries, kids parties etc. Just know...you will be amazed by her creative designs and decorations! A+++

Purchased a group buy deal for a Yarra Valley Winery tour operated by ChillOut Travel. We were able to choose a pick up point which was along the tour route(instead of the Melbourne CBD starting point) and were dropped off on time at the same spot. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable(must have been doing this for a while), very cheery and happy, professional - all my friends were very impressed. Overall the tour was very enjoyable and we all had a wonderful and relaxing day.

Specialty noodle and dumpling eatery located inside Box Hill Centro. Great value for money food wise. Service is non-existant - you have to order/pay up at the counter. For the kids there is a bonus with the free surplee machine. On my one and only visit I ordered the lamb noodles and vegetarian dumplings. Some of the dumplings were still cold in the middle - obviously these were pre made and from the fridge. Flavour-wise I did not like at all *note to myself - must stick with the tried and true meat dumplings from now on. The Lamb Noodles on the other hand was delicious. I'm a fan of shanghainese noodles and this did not disappoint. Lamb was also tender and the bowl had a decent amount. Overall, pretty much what you would expect from your typical local noodle and dumpling eatery.

Tidy Ted has been doing our garden for a couple of years now. He always does a great job at fantastic rates(not like those other rip off businesses). Highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $45

Stumbled across this small sushi shop one night and needed a quick feed. To my surprise the sushi rolls were only $2. Sushi rolls were pretty good and I've also tried their sushi/sashimi lunch packs which were also competitively priced.

Specialty Macaron store that is relatively new located in Hardware lane. Of course, there's a wide selection of macarons(14 different flavours), which you can purchase individually($2.50) or in half dozen boxes or dozen boxes. These boxes have a 'souvenir' element as they are silver embossed and quite pretty thus making them a great gift idea. I've only tried the chocolate flavoured macaron and I think these are a step up when compared to Lindt if not one of the best. Of course these things are subjective so you gotta try and see for yourself!

I found out about this through a group buy site and decided to check it out for lunch one day. You have to walk up to/through the bar area to access the restaurant. Menu is a bit pricey without discount voucher for 'pub' like food. Servings could be more decent. Food was just 'ok' and nothing out of the ordinary. Though, one of the worst potato chips I've ever had.

Contemporary fusion of eastern and western food restaurant. Decided to try this place out after purchasing a 'group buy' deal for a multiple course degustation dinner. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with classic Asian themes mixed in with modern styles. All the courses were really nicely presented and tasted great. Together with the group buy deal the whole experience was well worth it.
