We ordered 2 ceasar salads, 1 with added chicken, 2 banana milk shakes which were described as made with ice cream. We were required to pay for the meals when ordering. The salads were the size of side serves not the mains we paid for. The lettuce was poor quality, all dark leaves. No anchovies and there were only 4 small pieces of chicken. The milk shakes were warm and the syrup was visible in the bottom of the glasses.

Service let down after an incident when a 1kg box of pet food fell off the shelf hitting my head. When I pointed this out to assistant, manager was called. He said it happened because customers replaced goods incorrectly when choosing items making them unstable on the shelf. Even though I was shocked and in pain he seemed more intent on proving the store was not at fault. I did point out that customers must have been very busy replacing items as most of the shelves were stacked in the same manner! Apart from suggesting I go to a doctor he was not overly concerned. A bit of TLC would have gone a long way or a seat and cup of tea maybe. I wasn't expecting compensation

Good range of products from plants to home accessories. Dissapointing service from a male assistant who was very pushy to the point of being rude. My elderly mother wanted advice about which product to use in her garden. He correctly pointed out a product but when I told my mother that I had some at home that she could use, he said"Idon't know why I bother".

Lovely owner and staff. Very personalised service. Remembers regular customers and treats everyone as family. Good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Will stay and talk about bargains in the green grocery section of the market. Pays attention to her customers needs.

The usual assistant who is on hand at the store entry is so welcoming and helpful that it makes me feel as though I am a special customer. She has the knack of remembering people. She is also very knowledgeable about the store so she is the person I go to for help in finding something. I cannot remember her name but she is middle aged with short red hair with highlights and she is about 155cm tall.

Good quality products and helpful assistants who let me look around without pestering but on hand to assist
