When my mum's husband died suddenly in December, mum instantly said call Anne from Oakdale. We had worked with Anne only 18 months earlier for my sister's funeral. Again, organising this funeral was made with ease with the assistance of Anne's gentle and caring nature, especially at this busy time of year. Anne allows you to add your own personal touch to celebrate your loved one, as well as providing the expertise and answers to questions in such a comforting way. She is very accommodating and really takes the time to get to know the family, especially for the ceremony. The other thing about Anne is she has always followed up after the event with a phone call or email — to see how everyone is going. Such a personal touch. From the moment I met Anne from Oakdale Funerals, I knew we were in good hands. She has such a personable nature and it put me and my brother-in-law and niece at ease at such a difficult time. Anne took the time to learn about my sister who had a long battle with breast cancer, as well as getting to know the family.
