Great little cafe in Miranda Westfield. They have a great lunch menu and a fantastic specials board. They make great coffee too. Staff are sometime hard to get once you have ordered.
We got married at the Gardens on Forest during September 2010. At this stage, the function centre had just changed hands.
Compared to what we were being offered by other venues, this venue had the best deal and was the friendliest. The all inclusive package made planning easier and cost effective. We were even surprised when tasting was included!
Small attention to detail on our wedding day made the even more special, such as sneaking an early coffee to my grandfather to stop his grumbling! The head waitress was there for our every moment.
Being of European background, I had concerned parents that this place would not be up to the standard of venues run by Greeks and Italians. This venue changed their view as they are still raving about how it exceeded theirh expectations with the quality of food and the professionalism of staff. Even other family members and friends are still commenting on how great the evening was.
This place is a teacher's resource heaven. It has so many books and display items. I loved their selection of bulletin board borders. It is very easy to spend a lot of money in there. If your school has an account, they can bill your school. They have a good sales section too.
Quite a large place but very organised.
Entree was amazing. The pork rolls and calamari were divine, as was the cold seafood plate. Wasn't too impressed with the honey and chilli bread though. It was bland and had not much chilli to be worth mentioning.
Mains were fantastic. The salmon was perfectly cooked and juicy. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The fishermans plates were VERY large but delicious. I would have liked the option to grill my fish on the fishermans plate rather than deep fry to break up the heavy fried foods.
We provided a birthday cake for dessert. It came out with sparklers, presented on a platter. The chef cut it up for us into individual serves with ice cream.
The only downside was the coffee, it was lukewarm and burnt, and wasn't really enjoyable.
I would definitely come here again.
I love coming here. The staff are friendly, and the food is fresh. There is a great vibe in this restaurant that makes it a fun place to eat at. The prices are reasonable for teppanyaki. The chefs are amazing and make the entire experience enjoyable.
The experience here is quite enjoyable. The chefs are lovely but the wait staff are a bit rude. The food is reasonably priced for teppanyaki. The environment needs a bit of an update though.
The burgers here are very delicious. I love the range on the board and I love how you can design your own. They are quite large burgers, which is great for the price.
I find the staff here are friendly and they have a great selection of international deli products. They are always quite busy. I love the chilli chicken and the ricotta from here.
I find the seafood here is fresh and they have a good selection. The even stock frozen foods and frozen party foods such as pastizzi. The fish prices can be a bit expensive depending on when you go. The chicken section is smaller and the prices are fantastic. It can get very busy here so be prepared to wait during peak times.
I love eating here. Us girls usually dine downstairs in the restaurant. Food here is great. The service is a little bit 'oops we forgot about you' sometimes.
The boys love the burgers in the bistro. They rave about them. The food is reasonably priced too.
I've been here for a function as well and the quality was fantastic!
