This review is for Seeds Early Learning Centre, Ballina NSW

Two of our children have been going to Seeds Early Learning Centre in Ballina for the past 6 weeks and they absolutely love it. The staff are professional, friendly and excellent with the kids, the facilities are modern but cluttered, and their outdoor play area is covered with plenty of play equipment.
My kids espeically enjoy the arts & crafts. In my opinion they are a bit overpriced, but my kids enjoy them so I'm happy.

This review is for Bertie The Bargain Butcher, Ballina NSW

Berties is a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes they have some good bargains, but not all of their cuts of meat are up to scratch (especially their sausages and corned silverside). However they do have their good points like 2 BBQ Chickens for $12, or their 2 litre Milk for $1.99. I mainly go their for their chicken pieces, bacon, and legs of lamb. I would never buy sausages there again, even the kids didn't like them.
The staff are friendly enough and the shop, because of where it's located, is handy in an emergency, although not my first choice for the more expensive cuts of meat.

This review is for Ballina's Indian Kitchen, Ballina NSW

I've never really been into Indian food, however my Hubby and kids have always wanted to try it, so recently we ordered takeaway from Ballina's Indian Kitchen in River street Ballina. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, the food was absolutely delicious.
We shared Buttered Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken, and Green Masala Fish. The prices were reasonable and the staff friendly. I'm looking forward to dining in their restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended!

After a recent car accident I was suffering shoulder and neck pain, and one of my friends recommend Paul Bioletti Body Therapy to me. And after only three visits I must must say , Paul truely has magic hands, most of my pain has gone.
Paul practices advanced Bowen and remedial massage for back and joint pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica and knees, and work & sports injuries. He also does health fund and work cover jobs.
I give Paul's magic fingers the big two thumbs up!

This review is for Wicked Restaurant, Ballina NSW

I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Wicked, the award winning restaurant in Cherry Street Ballina. The food was fantastic, the service and the atmosphere were great, and we all had a good time.
The average lunchtime main meal is around $15, however when we went they had a $9.95 lunchtime main meal special. I ordered the Beer Battered Fillets of Fresh Local Fish with Chips & Crisp Lettuce Salad, and it was delicious. I will definitely be back!

This review is for Cafe Swish, Ballina NSW

Great coffee, great locally made gourmet food, great service but expensive prices. Cafe Swish has everything that you could want in a upmarket coffee shop, great service, friendly staff, a wide selection of cakes and nibbles, fast service but beware - you get what you pay for. I enjoyed my visit but a bit expensive to go there on a regular basis.

This review is for Thommo's Automotive Repair Centre, Ballina NSW

verified email - 09 Feb 2011

I recently required a my car's exhaust repaired so it would pass rego so I took it to Thommo's Auto Repair in Tamar street Ballina. I was told by a friend that they not only did exhausts, but also rego checks and greenslips.
They fixed my exhaust (or should I say my car's exhaust - my exhaust has been fine since I laid off the beans) , had me rego checked, green slipped, and back on the road in under 3 hours.
The price was O.K. (not wonderful / not exorbitant) and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This review is for Doug Milne - The Window Washing Man, Ballina NSW

verified email - 09 Feb 2011

Douglas Milne the Window Washing Man is the "Scotsman with a squeege". His prices are reasonable, he is fully insured, has police clearance, and gives free quotes.
He's a bit of a character, but he gets in and gets the job done fast and properly. I would highly recommend him!

An excellent dining experience. My favourite dishes were the Mongolian lamb and the Schezuan Beef. Staff are friendly and helpful, the prices were inexpensive, the atmosphere was good, and the food was fantastic. Will definately go back! Best of all they're licensed. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Ballina area.

Hair Exposure in Moon street Ballina is a hairdressers that caters to the whole family. The store is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and engaging, and most important of all - they are good at what they do. Their prices are reasonable and I highly recommend them. My 12 year old Daughter was even impressed with her haircut, and she is not easily impressed.
