My journey to getting my red P has been nothing short of the word eventful. With my biggest roadblock being my mind and the way I would initially psyched myself out during practical driving assessments. I failed on multiple occasions either through rushing myself or just letting one mistake snowball into countless ones that cause me not to get my me my red P. On the 3rd of July, was just reflecting on what has been really holding me back from getting my license. I was reconsidering if I should continue lessons with my previous instructor because I felt that his teaching couldn't get me out of my head when it comes assessment time. So then, I did a search on google for driving schools in Perth that assist with getting over anxiety and nervousness when doing assessment, and Vlad's driving school popped up first on the results. I sent and enquiry with my details and what I would like assistance with and he called me back and narrated a story to me about pancake. The lesson he drove home that time with that story was that you only get nervous when you don't know how to do something, but once you know you almost don't think too much about it when you do it. I booked an hour to first see what I need to work on with the intention of booking lessons just a week before my test. I ended up booking more lessons initially starting with 2 or 3 lessons per week. I was impressed with Vlad's patience and knowledge of driving and how to get over anxiety and nervousness when doing the test or driving. With every lesson I did he would always point out what I had done well and then provided me with ways in which I can improve on what I haven't done well. And on the 19 of August, I went and did my test at my Mirrabooka armed with the all the knowledge I had acquired from Vlad about staying calm and... I passed!! I was so happy and still feeling very elated that I after more than 5 years on my learners I can finally say I have my red P. I can now drive without supervision. I would highly recommend Vlad's Euro Driving School to anyone looking to get their auto or manual license. He's also a pretty cool instructor, down to earth and friendly with many lessons and stories to tell. Highly, highly recommend
