Wow! This place was definitely an experience to remember. I was invited here by my sister’s in-laws for dinner one night (after having told them I eat anything) not really knowing what to expect. When I said I ate everything, I didn’t expect to see a menu full of items such as pig’s hearts, brains, livers and various other offal parts from different animals. Turns out I don’t eat everything! ;) The other guests thoroughly enjoyed these menu items, while I stuck to the more “standard” options (of that there were few). The food I did try was delicious. The idea is you first pick a base soup and then choose the other items (insert offal) to cook within your soup on a stove in front of you. I had the seafood tomyum soup which was amazing on its own and honestly had enough seafood in it to be classified as a main meal by itself. I added squid, noodles and dumplings. Be careful with your choice of add-ins as some are difficult to gage whether or not they are cooked in the hot soup. The bill can creep up quite quickly without realising as most soups are plain stock and to add in a few different things to try gets costly. As everyone in the room is sitting over boiling pots of soup, the room becomes quite steamy and muggy which creates a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. All-in-all I had a good experience, and while I probably won’t go back myself I would recommend others to try.

I have been here a twice now and both times I have left feeling a little unimpressed. The staff are professional and the venue is ok. The food is very average and nothing to boast about. Both times I have been there they have forgotten something from my dish (I ordered standard, off the menu with no changes both times. One time it was the salad/vegetables and the other it was the sauce on the steak [which was tough] from their specials board that day). I would personally not return by choice.

This café provided a lovely backdrop for my friend’s birthday brunch on a Saturday morning. The café is just far enough from the beach to shield the wind but still close enough to the main area that you can see/do other things. The food was delicious and there was a breakfast choice for everyone. The staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable. They were very accommodating for our group of 10 and allow split bills. I look forward to my next visit.

What a lovely place to visit. You can sample many of Maggie Beer's creations, watch a cooking demonstration, walk on the farm, see the pheasants or have a meal on the deck and watch the turtles. It was rather busy on the weekend and the staff were very professional. We all had a nice time, including the children.

Stopped here the other day on a day trip to the hills. I loved hearing from the lady serving how the majority of the products in this store are made from local ingredients and sourced from local farmers.
Unfortunately that seemed to be where her knowledge stopped. There were 5 cheeses to taste and it was as if she had memorised cue cards as to what they were as she was unable to answer any of our questions about them. We enquired about other types of cheeses to which she was unsure. When we pointed to one in the stand that we had asked about her reply was she didn't know that they had that and wasn't sure what it was. She didn't know what ricotta was either...?
There was only a small selection of cheese which, although lovely, were quite expensive.

I love stopping here on trips to the Barossa. They have a wide selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Each one I have tried have been lovely and the pastry is quite good. Great seating areas or you can choose to go to the park across the road for a picnic.

Lovely, fresh pasta at affordable prices. Tastes almost as good as home made. Worth while stocking up the freezer with a few bags. Friendly staff.

A rooftop Bar and Restaurant with a modern, stylish setting and atmosphere and excellent views of the city. The food was delicious but being an upscale market expect to pay more for small servings. The wine was quite lovely too. For a Saturday lunch it was busy but not overally packed. The staff were friendly, however our meals all came out a different times which was disappointing, especially since we had all ordered together. The first meal came out a good 15 minutes before any of the other 3 staggered out. I'd expect better considering the reputation they have built for themselves. Dress to impress as there is a dress code enforced. Overall a good experience.
