Very pleased with my experience at Maleny Hair and Beauty.

I arranged my appointment via email months in advance, as I was coming from out of town for a wedding. This was no trouble for Katherine, who scheduled my appointment no-questions-asked.

I didn't really have much of a plan when walking into the salon for my 'up-style' and make-up, only a few images of hairstyles I liked.

Katherine and her sister (make-up artist, sorry I'm terrible with names) were professional and made me feel glamorous and confident and I was extremely satisfied walking out, feeling that i had well and truly got value for money for my formal event.

The salon was clean, fresh, and had a relaxing atmosphere.

My biggest request to the girls was; that my make-up lasted the day (applied at 1030am), and my hair didn't frizz on the humid day. Both requests were happily fulfilled.

I will confidently recommend Maleny Hair and Beauty to anyone looking for Hair and Make-up to be done in the area.

We needed somewhere central to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This was by-far the most affordable, convenient, and best quality accommodation in the nearby area and beyond.

Upon arrival Susie and Ken provided us with a Welcome Pack with fresh baked bread, marmalade, butter, coffee and tea plus more - which was very welcomed after a long drive with children and not wanting to have to head to the shops.

The local Supermarket is in Narangba, only two minutes drive or twenty minutes walk, and is fully stocked with the necessities. There is a Westfield ten minutes drive down the highway for anything else.

The kitchen is completely stocked with the equipment you would need for a weeks stay. Microwave, Decent size fridge, Oven and Stove, Washing Machine, Cups, Plates, Cutlery, Baking pans, Wok... you name it, Susie and Ken have thought to include it. They even went to the trouble, without request, of going out to buy a high chair for our use and child locks for the kitchen cupboards to make sure we were comfortable.

The other important stuff; Soft towels. Very comfortable bed. New / clean fittings. Some Aromatherapy soap, made by Susie, was a nice touch in the bathroom.

For those with kids, Narangba has a brilliant, secure playground only two minutes drive from the home-stay.

I will recommend this home-stay to anyone looking for accommodation in the area, and look forward to returning soon.
