Years ago, Rito's occupied a large section of Lower Colonndes and while they still stood out in terms of service & variety, they were unable to do as they do now - offer a larger dining area to their customers. Since relocating onto Beach Rd, Rito's continues to flourish and provide outstanding variety in European goods, from cuts of cold meats to their assortment of cakes & pastries, Rito's offers some of the finest and delectable brews of coffee that 8 have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

The next time you find yourself thinking 'I should stop there...' Please do so!

Given how over the years, many businesses have come and gone along Beach Rd, Annie's Cafe has flourished - and despite having been a fixture of Beach Rd for quite some time now, it was only recently I happened to enter. The atmosphere in itself is reason enough to sit and order yourself a drink. Vintage decorations, sturdy & inviting tables, a generous selection of beverages, cakes & meals. While it can seem the wait for your coffee is a tad longer than you'd perhaps like, it's easy to forgive those extra minutes you spend waiting simply because Annie's is the kind of cafe where you can sit with your favourite book and just relax.

I am grateful to have finally taken the opportunity to enjoy Annie's and will certainly return for a delicious (and temperature perfect) latte very soon.

Smokemart (Gift Box) Upper Colonnades store is without a doubt always my first choice - while the pricing of tobacco isn't in their control, the assortment of deals on the variety of other items offers me 3 lighters for 2$, their assortment of gifts, keepsakes & more are relatively well-priced. What truly makes this Smokemart stand out, however, is the exceptional customer service. As a regular customer for many years, I don't even have to say what packet, the staff know. There's a commraderie with the customers that goes that extra mile beyond a typical staff/customer relationship and it is this dedication & service I praise them for the most!
