Wrong diagnosis, fault not fixed, constantly asking for more money.

Very disappointed with the service and the follow up. A technician came out to do a service. I pre-paid over $300 for this. The service man said the issue with the flickering screen that does not allow the zoning to occur is due to a faulty control module. After waiting for a long time - due to their unavailability - I pre-paid $673. The technician arrived and took half the time but I was still expected to pay the whole estimated amount. I queried this and also informed that the flickering issue was still not resolved after spending $673! It is Feb now, no response. When I emailed again with video evidence of the SAME issue. I got another generic quote - no calls, no response, just a quote of $231 to change a completely diffferent part.
I am so disappointed that they are just giving me very expensive quotes and the problem is still there with no changes to any outcome since before the peak of summer. We are having to run the unit this hot summer all over the house. The zoning was never fixed in the first place. I reported this issue within a few days from repair. I tried calling a few time and no one answers in service. Is it really acceptable to just keep invoicing clients to pre-pay for a job that is not properly done?
