I don't know if they have changed management a few months ago, but I have started to not enjoy meeting up with friends there....the coffee is a favourite, but I have had to return 3 items in the last few visits. Yesterday, I couldn't eat my chicken, lettuce and avocado wrap. It was very disappointing. I'm a pretty fair person, but whoever made them and didn't care about feeding customers composted lettuce, should be sacked! Had a gluten free hummingbird cake a while ago, had a disgusting flavour and texture. And so overpriced! Not to mention the sausage rolls, dry and tasteless. I have enjoyed the lasagnas, frittatas and friands etc, although their cakes and pastries are riduculously expensive. I would love them to improve their food and make home their own cakes and muffins as its a great location to meet my friends and let our children play.

Amazing, our favourite. We usually get the blue grenadier and chips with some calamari thrown in. Sometimes my daughter wants a burger. Yum. The guys there really look after you. We dined in once as it turned cold (were on our way to the beach), and they went out of their way for us, gave us clean crockery and real cutlery to eat with. We watched tv above us as well...felt like at home. Great guys - they really look like they enjoy their business.

So far I've been buying meat from here for 6 years and have never been disappointed. I find them a little expensive and try to save money going elsewhere every now and then, but only to come back to them time and time again because I can't find better. The staff are very helpful and know their stuff. Great advice with cooking techniques. The tomato and onion lamb chops are to die for (although, would be better if they trimmed the fat off the chops) as well as their rissoles. They are a favourite of ours for family get togethers and parties. So are the roasts, the chicken schnitzels, the t-bones, the mince, lamb chops. A huge plus is they don't use those horrible preservatives. A great old fashioned butcher! If they close down I will have to go vegetarian.
