This review is for Jim's Greek Tavern, Collingwood VIC

It is a pretty good sign if a restuarant has been around forever and still packs them on a thursday night and turns over three sittings on a weekend.

Food here is simply, fresh, quick and delicious. Some of my greek friends dont like it becasue they think that it isnt 'real' greek food but once you get into the dips and grilled octopus with olive oil and lmon juice thier complaints tend to be drained out.

There are no menus just trust the oustanding waiters to get you through.

The BYO policy is oustanding, particulary if it is a special occasion.

This is an iconic restuarant - which has lost nothing in its new location. It is still hassle free, relaxed, intimate (although not as intimate as the last venue) and the service is oustanding. The quaility of food is excellent, i am yet to have a meal which has been below par.

With there success the prices have slowly risen over the years which doesnt make it as good value as some other restaurants in the area. However no other restuarant is as good.

I have been coming here for years and think it is a great way to introduce friends to Malaysian (Hawker) cuisine.

Approximate cost: $15-20

I have been getting a Parma from 'The Dog' for years now and have been one of thier biggest advocates. I feel however that the standard of late has slipped dramatically. It is nothing short of a crisis. They are still big (almost, almost, too big), and they are still fantastic to get you full on before chucking them up on some unsuspecting footpath later in the evening however they now taste of plastic, are invariable cold and are served by the most obnoxious little girls i have ever come across.

The place has become a Parma factory. My last Parma at the dog was on the bar ready to eat in under 3 minutes. If i had ordered 2 minute noodles this would have been acceptable, but the fact of the matter is anything that takes that little time from order to service is pre-prepared, and it shows. There is no care and no love given to what had been a truely iconic dish.

RIP: The Skinny Dog Parma, it will be forever missed.

This review is for North Carlton Osteopathy Clinic, Carlton North VIC

I have been to two different Osteopaths at this clinic and both have been outstanding. They all appear young and very keen to help you solve your problems.

The understand that you actually live a life also and give advice about your injuries which enable you to control your injury.

The best thing is that they are never running very far behind. If you are late for your appointment be aware that they would prefer to cut you short rather than make their next client wait. I think it is a great way of doing it.

At about $68 a consultation (without health insurance) it is not cheap, but if you are in pain it is worth it.

Approximate cost: $68
