Had my laser eye surgery performed at Vista in March 2015.

Am overjoyed with the results - no more glasses or contacts now. The staff were excellent - very caring and provided me with lots of information and advice. I was allergic to some of the eye drops (pre-existing) and they took great care of me. Dr Rick Wolfe was wonderful - had a very calming presence and I felt confident with him.

Convenient location, near Elsternwick Station was a bonus.

Good selection of beers and one of the better burgers in Richmond - service is always excellent.

Recommend getting 'the collection', so you can sample a range of sliders.

I usually get delivery from St Domenico. Every time, the quality of the pizza is amazing - authentic and delicious! I stick to the traditional pizzas as they think they're the best...and the pannacotta is to die for.

The delivery folks are always great as well.

By far the best pizza I've tried in Richmond and I think it's actually pretty close to some of the top places in Melbourne.

I have a chronic medical condition and have seen many doctors over the last 14 years. With a difficult condition such as mine, some doctors get very intimidated and don't know what to do...and some are just downright unhelpful.

I was really pleased to find Richmond Medical. I've seen two doctors there and both were very compassionate, supportive and understanding. They were happy to keep my key specialist informed and actually referred me to two additional and excellent specialists, who have actually been able to help me (a rare thing!).

Also open at convenient times and a transparent price list - very helpful.

I had been turned away from two reputable laser clinics before finally finding Minoo’s. These other clinics were worried that they would burn my skin due to my fine hair and dark complexion (Indian) – while they could do some areas, I was really after whole body hairlessness!

I had a consult with the owner/manager at Minoo’s and she gave me an honest and realistic assessment of what results I could expect and how long it would take. I know she adjusted the laser settings to suit my skin, which other clinics just didn’t seem to know how to do.

I think my results exceeded her expectations (and my own)! After only three sessions, it was amazing – some areas were already completely hair free. After a few more and I am nearly done…about six unwanted hairs left on my entire body! These kinds of results are pretty remarkable for someone with dark skin. To think I went from shaving every other day to picking up a razor once every couple of months for six hairs!

Over time, I also got a series of facials and they got me onto some great face products. I had previously been a person that got her moisturiser from the supermarket, so the products seemed like a big step up – but, in reality, they actually aren’t that expensive because they last so long. From having clogged up and reactive skin that broke out if I accidentally scratched my nose the wrong way, I now have a perfect, smooth complexion and barely even wear makeup anymore.

The ladies at Minoo’s also convinced me to address my over-plucked eyebrows. I can’t believe I actually thought they looked ok before…they really didn’t…I look back at photos and cringe. They now look full and natural, and the ladies even taught me how to do them myself at home.

So, I can’t recommend Minoo’s enough – I’ve had the best results you can expect on all fronts. I always request my treatments with the owner/manager because she is so meticulous, but all the ladies there are amazing.

All this has been an investment but it’s been absolutely worth it in my eyes. Not just because I am now always getting compliments on my skin, but more so because getting ready takes me no time at all now! Thanks Minoo's!

Asao is simply amazing - professional, meticulous and strives for perfection every time.

I get so many compliments on my lashes and never have to wear mascara. So pleased with the results!

The booking system is easy to use and being able to pay via Paypal on the way to your appointment is an added bonus.

In terms of prices in the CBD for good quality lashes, Tokyo Lashes are definitely at the lower end of the scale. There are cheaper out there (and I've been to some of those places), but my view is you just won't get the same quality and you'll risk damaging your lashes. Get the best and go to Tokyo Lashes.

Not the place to get lash extensions - don't risk your lashes

I hate to leave a bad review but, given how badly this salon damaged my lashes, I think I should warn others.

I have been getting Russian Volume lashes done for years in the CBD and loved them as, despite having decent lashes, I don't like wearing mascara. But I wanted to find a place closer to home so I went to the Lash & Brow Boudoir in Richmond. I gave this place an honest go and went in a number of times in the hope that it would work out but, unfortunately, they did a terrible job and, worst of all, ruined my lashes.

Quality - The first time I went in and got the full set, the lashes looked OK. The technician I saw didn't get them as full as my previous salon and took longer, but I was happy enough for the price. Over the next couple of weeks, I did notice them falling out faster than I was used to and not sitting as straight. I went in for two more refills and, while they looked ok immediately after being applied, both times my lashes fell out very quickly, unevenly (literally the extensions on one eye fell out nearly completely!) and looked 'messy' (i.e. they weren't put on straight and I couldn't brush them straight). A few of my friends commented, as they noticed that my lashes weren't up to their usual standard. I mentioned this to the technician and, at the next refill, she resolved to fix it - she pulled at my lashes a bit that time but again, they looked ok on the day...but yet again started looking a mess shortly after (sticking out at different directions).

I went in one last time to give the salon another go (I really did give them every chance!) and the technician had clearly used too much glue the time before because she kept trying to separate my lashes and kept tugging at them to do so - it was INCREDIBLY painful as she went lash by lash pulling at them. I told her to stop half way and walked out without paying. She hurt me so badly that even the next day, my lashline was sore. After years of getting my lashes done, I'd never ever felt pain!

Today, I went back to my old technician in the CBD and she was not impressed when she went to remove them. She said the work was poor and, worst of all, that they'd severely damaged my natural lashes. My once long and reasonably thick lashes were broken and sparse. She said it'll take months to grow back to normal. I have NEVER had this before - my lashes have always been strong and able to handle Russian 4-6D lashes, but she couldn't even do that this time because of what the Lash & Brow Boudoir did to me. I was extremely upset and have had to spend $85 on a lash serum to try and help them grow back faster and stronger.

Service - The online booking service didn't work. Also, I never was able to book in an appointment without someone calling me or texting me to try to move it. Every time I booked in, I had to change the time or day because someone was away or forgot to book me in properly, etc. etc. It's a minor issue compared to their lack of quality.

So overall, just don't go there. For those who don't know, that just shouldn't happen - I hear people saying about their own extensions that they 'needed to take a break to let their lashes recover' but that's simply NOT the case if you go to a good salon. You can get extensions done continuously without any damage. For years my natural lashes were lovely and long...I mean, until I went to the Lash & Brow Boudoir.
