Crown Power installed a total of five Daikin reverse cycle, inverter wall split air conditioner units in our home. Other dealers had rejected out-of-hand the prospect of installing one in our downstairs rumpus room whereas Russell checked and rechecked the options, consulted with his installers and electrician and confirmed that the installation could be achieved.

Russell also accommodated our wishes to change the location of the outdoor units to ground level away from our bedrooms to ensure the we would not be disturbed by noise or vibration. We accepted a higher cost for these variations but the result is most satisfactory.

Other dealers had quoted using a "multiple head" format, running four indoor heads powered by one outdoor condenser. If all units ran at once the condenser would be overloaded. While this reduced the number of units outside the overall financial saving was negligible and we now have some redundancy, that in the unlikely event that one unit fails, we will still have all other rooms cooled.

Russell's installation team was courteous, efficient and understanding. They were prepared to discuss our concerns and find solutions that met our needs. A planned two-day installation was completed in a longer one-day effort and our home was left clean and tidy. These blokes are an excellent example of how dealing with tradesmen should be. Unfortunately they are a very rare breed.
