This place is awesome in every way. Their food is all done really well and NONE of it is anything like the usual bland, salty, oily Mediteranean stuff that nearly every other mediocre eatery in town has on their menus (but don't confuse my meaning... Sahara is NOT mediocre in any way)!

PLUS... the service from absolutely all of the guys who work there is what it should be everywhere. These guys are so genuine and nice to their customers (sadly this is never to be taken for granted in Melbourne). They don't kiss your @ss, but more to the point, they don't expect you to kiss theirs (again.. service staff at too many eateries in Melbourne seem to expect you to do so!)... they all clearly do not confuse good service with servitude!

The atmosphere is like you're sitting at your own kitchen table and the coffee has to be the best (if not also the cheapest at $3!!!) on Sydney Rd (see if you can count how many places sell coffee on Sydney Rd). This fact is consistent so simply must be deliberate.
