I keep my hair very short. 'Marine Corp back and sides' short.

Recently I went for a wander at lunch and stumbled across Rockit in the McPherson Building on Collins Street.

Rockit is a traditional 1940/1950s theme Men's Barber Shop where no appointments are necessary, you just put your name on the Chalk Board when you walk in and grab a seat.

Fab and his lads are great at what they do and pay attention to detail. With a #0 back and sides there is nothing worse than getting home and finding missed tufts of hair. I've never had this problem with the boys at Rockit.

Rockit is open Mon - Fri only.

Approximate cost: $20,00$

About a year ago now I was feeling in the mood for something different for breakfast. I found myself wandering the Carnegie high street and stumbled up HUFF.

The crew at HUFF are always happy and friendly and they have an amazing selection of Sweet and Savoury bagels.

There is a menu of filled bagels for which my favourite is the BRT (Bacon, Rocket, Tomato and Dijonaise) and you can choose which of their bagels you have it on.

I usually have the BRT and a large Soy Latté and that comes in at 11,00$ which I think is outstanding value.

Approximate cost: $8,00$

I had my first Royal Crown experience last night and have to say tat they're brilliant.

I go for #0 back ad sides and one of my pet hates is getting home and finding missed tufts of hair in the mirror.

Nat cut my hair last night and I have the most perfect #0 that i can't remember the last time it was that good.

The staff are all very friendly and you can even ring ahead to have your name added to the chalk board waiting list.

They were very busy last night but the wait was definitely worth the experience and I shall definitely be head back to them.

Approximate cost: $22,00$

This review is for Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran VIC

My partner and I decended upon Misty's Dinner on Saturday night as I was feeling a tad fragile after the night before.

It was our first trip to Misty's after hearing the adverts on the radio and driving past so many times and boy am I glad we finally made it.

From the moment we walked in Misty greeted us with gusto and made us feel very welcome. Though out the rest of the evening Misty checked in on us and was on hand to answer any questions we had. She's such a Doll!

Anywho, we shared the Chili Fries which were brilliant and I had the Philly Steak Roll which was to die for.

We're looking forward to many a return visit so we can eat our way through the menu. (Responsibly of Course)

Approximate cost: $10,90
