I am so sad to say that the most recent time we went there, was the last time.
We really enjoyed the burgers, until both my youngest son and I had a bout of food poisoning. I feel that the cooking of the burgers was rushed so they could meet demand.

For the same money you could have more food of better quality elsewhere.
The food we paid $57 for, would have cost about $35 at a proper Yum Cha restaurant.
We had to ask three times to receive water. The wait staff were simply busy and indifferent. The cashier was downright rude.

Chris is the real deal.
He is a straight talking, honest and highly skilled mechanic. His boys do a pretty good job.
Every time I get one of my cars serviced there, I'm always surprised that the bill is lower than I expected. Very good value and very good work, always.

We went to Tradies last night for a family meal.
I liked:
The service, it was good as always. They hire good people & train them well
The décor, it was great as they have recently renovated.
The kids club, my kids had fun and are looking forward to going back.
I didn't like:
My pork ribs. They tasted like they had been steamed and then simply burned for grill marks. Tasted like charcoal.
My wife's salad. No dressing provided or available.
We will go again but make different menu choices next time.

A nice historic Bar & Restaurant.
While not so impressed with the customer service, and we did have to wait a fair bit for our meal, the food was absolutely fantastic! The steak was divine and worth the price.
Tip: more of a place for a date than a family dinner.
Approximate cost: $35
Since this place changed hands the quality of the coffee is now great and the food has stayed good.
I strongly suggest that you try the Portuguese burger!
