Great how the owners are on hand and ensuring the business running efficiently . The spaghetti marinara was very tasty. But the one big disappointment was the Apple pie, micro waved in front of us and had the consistency of wet paper or cardboard. The 15 minutes we spent waiting for the desert could have been spent better by placing the apple pie in the oven, hence making it edible.

There was a time the Indie bar was a place for a top feed, Times have changed, I had the misfortune of ordering their seafood basket, cheap crap, straight out of a show bag. Bloody disgusting, no pride, no love, I blame management , cost cutting.

So disappointed, actually recommended this restaurant to friends.the only thing that has not changed is the service, friendly young ladies that are the only shining light, this establishment has gone down hill. Just got back from this establishment and can not believe how disappointed we are. The food can best be called a micron off eneatable. The chicken was very dry and the squid was terrible, we will never eat there again

As a pub the Boat in Mindarie is not to bad, not great but not bad. As for the food side of things, the only thing worse than the food and that is the service. We had the misfortune of trying to dine there and you order the food off the barman. We were left waiting and told the tills were loading up, all the time other tills and customers are working and getting served.
I have lived in Mindarie for ten years and have seen the Boat gradually go down hill. It is true when they say if a place gets popular, it is so easy for it to let its standards slip. Very disappointed will never eat there again and recommend you dont either

My partner and I had the good fortune to dine at Mindarie Thai Resurant last night. I judge a good restaurant by the way I feel as I walk out the door and the empty plates left behind.
It has been a long time since I have left any eating establishment feeling satisfied and knowing it was money very well spent. Highly recommend the food and service.
